8:42 I find it so sad that a religion dictates the sexuality of certain people. This is where I am proud to live in a secular country. 😊😢

Sorry but I hate the first one- not only is stereotyping harmful to wlw who don't do that, but it also adds to the queerbaiting problem x100. Do we all wish it could be that easy to signal our identity to each other? Of course! But do straight girls steal everything that they see us doing bc they think it's cool? Yeah!!

Tiktok is wild bro, you'll see someone get offended at a dog's haircut for being "cultural appropriation", then scroll to the next one where a girl explains for 5 minutes how good of a wife she would be to the anime version of H*tler lmaooo

reminder, the only amount of clothes you will ever wear and need at any point are: 1-3 weeks worth of normal clothes (depending on if you wear pajamas), something professional for a job/interview/etc, work clothes, something fancy for a night out/date/dinner, a sturdy belt or two, and some pieces of nice jewelry. just enough to fill a normal small/medium sized closet. if you couldn't fit your clothes into the trunk or backseat of a car no matter how much you squeeze it in, you have too many clothes. if you find yourself in a loop of getting clothes for an aesthetic and then switching aesthetics and getting clothes for that aesthetic, and you stop wearing those old clothes due to them not being your aesthetic anymore: STOP.

While I think in an ideal society we wouldn’t have to come out and we would just be attracted to people without a label, I’m very comforted by calling myself a lesbian. I know some people hate labels but I love being able to call myself a lesbian. The words feels like it’s wrapping around me like a warm blanket and telling me things will be alright and that I can be confident in who I am. Having the label of lesbian comforts me. So I say, have labels if you want them and don’t if you don’t. Just be your happiest, truest self :)

8:33 It's wrong. I don't know the American mentality of guys. But in France, between male friends we tell each other everything. Precisely, it is rather the opposite which will distance us or block us regarding the person. We need to know the person better. Which I think makes sense, right? I assure you that as a French person, if you don't tell your friends everything, the friendship will not work. We are precisely trying to find out more about the person By the way I'm straight so no ulterior motives or anything haha. I just find it stupid not to want to make anything clear to your friends. The goal is to show them who you really are and that they can make you In addition, I am in the worst position to say this because I am a very shy and reserved person by nature. 😂😅

To say I’m disappointed with the anti Romani sentiment in the queer community is an understatement. Reposting this and deleting my previous comment for clarity Let me rephrase this because so many people are loosing their minds. Queer terms have also been influenced by Romani people that used polari and were circus performers. The term fruit has been around for a long time but different applications have influenced the way we use it now. Romani terms and culture have influenced language, dance, and culture today, but are often immediately discredited for their contributions due to anti Romani sentiments. This discrimination is particularly common in Europe, but is still very alive in the US. If you see info mentioning Romani people and their influence and don’t agree, take a moment to ask yourself if that opinion has been influenced by said anti Romani sentiment or if the poster just worded it wrong. I am not an educator, which is why I directed people to Florida.Florian who is. I’m sorry if my previous statement was confusing, but the response from others was anger instead of correction and that is so disappointing. Romani people HAVE influenced language and refusing to recognize that erases their value as people. I’m not trying to create fallacies or make up stuff, I’m just not an expert. Once again, directing others to the actual Romani educator that can explain this better.
