This is the best episode of season 1 and it's when the series starts getting REALLY good.

Hellborn species like imps, hellhounds, and succubi don't have souls and were never human. They are born, grow up, have kids, and if they're lucky, they die of old age. Just like humans. And just like humans, they can be killed by other things like being shot, burning to death (just not with earth fire, which they're immune to), or suffocation. Because they have no soul, when they die, they're permanently gone and have no secondary heaven/hell to be sent to. They're also a much lower rank than "Sinners," who did used to be human. Souls are used as currency in hell, and only humans had them. Also, sinners might enter hell with powers that are personalized to the sinner and hellborn don't have powers like that unless they're royalty like Stolas. Also, sinners kinda "respawn" when they're killed in hell unless they're killed with an angelic weapon. Higher demons like Stolas also need to be killed with an angelic weapon. Stolas is immortal. Blitz isn't.

I really hope you continue this series, it's so good. This episode was kinda Looney Tunes-esque. The next episode is fun. However, episode 6 is INCREDIBLE, and that's when it starts getting REALLY good. The goofy, unnecessary humor starts taking more of a backseat in favor of more emotional character development. That's my personal favorite. The goofy humor of the early first season is still good, but the second season had me in tears a lot. Also, note that in the last episode, Loona got on their case for not having human disguises, and they're in disguises almost this entire episode. 😂

Moxie's reasoning for acting like he did in episode one will come about in the second season. Stolas is not a yikes husband, I promise. He shares his perspective in the second season as well. He's my favorite character, he breaks my heart. I love him so much, he makes me bawl my eyes out. Also, the robot clown guy that sang Loo Loo Land is a robot replica of a famous clown. The REAL Fizzaroli shows up later. A lot of people confuse the two when they watch this series and say, "Ugh, this guy, again!" when the real Fizzaroli shows up. This episode is the only time we FULLY see Robo Fizz. Also, a charlatan is someone who claims to have an answer or a cure, but they're just a scammer. Like someone who claims that their drink will make you lose 10 lbs a week, but it's just a regular ass protein shake and you gain weight. A snake oil salesman.

My recommendation -- don't watch the 2000-era one with Johnny Depp next - it's an odd re-make of this and it has various issues...... like bad CGI and a totally different type of Wonka character energy. But they do the same story differently. Watch the new one that came out last year, maybe early this year. It's the origin story of this same Wonka and it's pretty good, very much in the same vein as this one. It's also funny and makes some good points about society, just like this one. The music and sets and amazing, just like this one.

From a cultural standpoint, Coco means the world to me. The sheer respect for Mexican culture in this movie is just incredible. The music, the food & the preparations for The Day Of The Dead. The culture itself is part of who I am and it's very important, as is the message of the importance of family. Also, the customs agent in The Land Of The Dead was portrayed by funnyman Gabriel "Fluffy" Iglesias.

Even after all these years, this movie never fails to make me ugly cry. And I still think that Sharptooth is the most terrifying depiction of a T-Rex in cinema, even more than Jurassic Park. EDIT: I hope you’ll watch more of Don Bluth’s stuff, particularly The Secret of NIMH and All Dogs Go to Heaven. I grew up with this trifecta, and they’re still some of the best that I’ve ever seen. But they’re also the most emotionally gut-punching.

It could be Charlie isn't their first child, just the first one to survive. @Valentino simp If we learned anything from Helluva Boss, it's that Viv love morbid backstories soooo @CrazyRani247 I heard that Vivz even confirmed that Charlie was fathered by Lucifer, because of the abortion curse. I can only assume that this led to some tension between Lucifer and Lilith and I wonder if that was part of why they broke up. I too am HELLUVA SUS from Lilith. Even before the end of this episode.

i love charlie and lucifer's relationship. they both felt like they were never good enough for the other. for lucifer,hes a former seraphim,current king of hell and im sure lilith told charlie all kinds of stories about him, so for lucifer,its "how can i live up to the way my daughter sees me,as this proud and confident king of hell". for charlie,she sees her father,the king of hell and hears of all the things hes accomplished and she thinks "how will i ever be able to live up to ANYTHING he's done". but in the song,they realize that they've ALWAYS been good enough for each other and that the other didnt care about anything else apart from being there for them. also id like to note the significance of lucifer showing his wings thing time around. when we see them in "hell's greatest dad" and the fight with adam,they're a flex,a display of power but they are a lot smaller. in "more than anything" ,they're larger,broader and not being used to flex his power. almost as if he has a renewed self of purpose and is no longer being held back by his depression. so for me,that image of lucifer holding charlie with that massive wingspan is by far the most important moment for his character so far
