Please stop selling houses to the idiot New Yorkers. Florida is the south and they don't fit in with their terrible aggressive attitudes, load and obnoxious. Terrible drivers always in a hurry to go nowhere, constant blowing the horn and making noise. Stay in NY you fit in and will like it much better. If you don't the Hurricanes and Alligators will get you.

I live in Fort Lauderdale and I drove by jacksonville on I-95 many years ago. I did not like it, it looked under developed and the downtown looked unappealing. Planning on driving up there and spend a full week to see why the hype lately. A lot of people are speaking great things about Jacksonville, FL.

Really cool video Taylor! I am looking to see of I will accept to move to US and talking with some of my work colleagues, they told me Florida is definitely a good place to live. How do I search in the web available houses to rent or buy? Another question, are the beaches good to swimming?

I live in Jacksonville, Florida I've been here since 1992. Jacksonville, Florida is great place to live it has it's good and bad spots. #1 reason you wouldn't want to live in Jacksonville, Florida TRAFFIC! Now Traffic wouldn't be that bad if the roads weren't so out of date. This is what happens when you keep putting Democrats in office NOTHING GETS FIXED. In the early 90s Jacksonville, Florida was low traffic and even though it get busy in Oct. and Jan. it was easy going on the road ways. In 1993 that all changed as Jacksonville was rewarded with it's first ever NFL team. 1994 Traffic started to get worst and the more people that started moving here from up north changed everything, by 1995 the city went form 289,361 to 846,755. That is a big jump for a city that wasn't a Metro. Jacksonville, Florida streets are not made for that many cars. Jacksonville was more of a military town a way through that why I95 went straight through Jacksonville. 1998 Jacksonville had 977,045 people. 2004 Jacksonville joined the 1 Million people towns, 1,002,023. Today Jacksonville has 936,017 people. The way to fix this Traffic problem is build more roads and bridges not make us pay tolls for roads that have been here since 1970s. Why is a highway that was built back in the 70s asking for a toll. Democrats are thefts if you want changed vote in someone who has a great idea on how to change. Who cares the party unless it is a democrat because like I said they can't be trusted they are LIARS!!! They call people racist and make up lies cause they have no answer for the problem. You know why democrats have no answer for the problem? CAUSE DEMOCRATS ARE THE PROBLEM!!!!

Don' move here. Too many people. Getting flooded by Northerners who messed up their own cities and need somewhere else to mess up. Seriously, plenty of other good places to mess up, move there.

I've been in South FL for 40 years. Getting very tired of dealing with hurricanes every year. I've been told that Jax doesn't seem to be in the cone often. Is that true? Also, how hard is it to find a rental home with 2 cats? Are there any low income senior housing communities in safe areas? I own my own home now, but I'm finding it more difficult every year to maintain it as I get older. Are the summers as hot as down here? Thanks for any info you can give me.

I’m thinking about living in the suburbs while I’m saving up to be able to get a place in South Florida. I found a really cheap AirBnb and it’s in walking distance with sidewalks to a Costco where I might be able to get a high paying job which is great since I don’t have my license yet and I can save up more making $15/hr+.

1. Build a Mansion with smart technology & Miami Vice theme fashion. 2. Have a private jet to visit nearby cities. 3. Create a solar panel company and/or green technology company. Or alternative technology company. Or inventory and shipping company.4. Create stores downtown with previous Miami fashion/culture.5. Private International security firm involving land and sea operations. 6. J'Ville G crew (female only cheerleaders attendees for all Jacksonville teams).

Living in Jacksonville like I do number one it's hot all the time you're right it does cool off a little bit in winter. The one thing you got to mention to a lot of people as there is no real nightlife and there's nothing that I can tell that stands out from any other major city in Florida. That's why I lot of Travelers don't travel to Jacksonville because there's nothing here that draws them to Jacksonville we don't have theme parks we don't have a lot of things for people to travel across country for I think Jacksonville is a big city with small-town feel Jacksonville is good for building a family finding a job and that's about it that I can think of
