Beautiful car! But you wont hit 4.90s in the 1/8 mile with that setup, unless your going nitrous. Im running a 525ci bbc in my 66. Dart big m block, Bryant crank, GRP aluminum rods, Ross Pistons, 15.5:1 compression, LSM .980 lift solid roller, BMF 350cc heads, Sonnys Brodix intake, and a 1200cfm carb. PB is 5.36 135mph in the 1/8 mile. 3200lb and 983hp. Doesnt matter, still an awesome car. Best looking car made by GM!

Thanks so much , yes I think it will go 4.90 with power adder . It's gone 5.5 NA and it's going to be lighter and more power but to go in the lower 5s I know power adder will need to be addressed. We shall see soon what she does 👍🙏 thanks again nice combo ya have too

@@FORCFED it’s a okay combo 😂 Not street able at all with this compression. Thinking about going small block turbo setup. I have a Dart Little M 427 inch small block and a pair of 69mm turbos. So it can be street driven!

@@DrangeDragRacingTeam1967 man I love SBC as well. I built a 434 dry sump . Was street NA and ran awesome. That's why I put my compression at around 11.7.1 so I could tune to 93 octane pump gas. It's awesome driving on the street with a full tube chassis haha 2400 pound beast 😎💪 thanks again

Are you going to run a 10.5 on a 15x14? I have a tube chassis 67 nova big block with spray runs 8:30 in quarter and am going small tire. Running a double beadlock 15x14 with a 10.5 tire. Small tire is all new to me.

Hood scoop makes it look wrong. (Ugly) Wheels are not a good choice either. Very much 80s with the color and the centerlines. Great year, great car. I'll give it a 6... Only because i sold my Chevelle and don't have a muscle car anymore.

I agree in pictures and videos but in person it looks much better. Also I'm not paying these stupid prices on modern rims . It's a old school ride . Old school shoes . Chevelle's look like a 🥚 never liked them. 69 had the best front end though. Thanks Viva old school

Love the car, the sound and just about everything but that stupid looking huge hood scoop. I watched all the other videos and I was thinking it had a high rise intake manifold or something to justify that scoop but now that I see the setup I can say what I originally thought.

Air cleaner barely clears by 1/2 an inch ..... Hood goes all the way back to windshield for Max air flow least residents / drag at top speeds . Thanks 🙏👍
