Watching the interaction between the guys on the right and the bass player on the left. What's going on there? Is that part of the performance? And if it is, what does it mean? Does it have something to do with the meaning of the song? Or were they actually about to fight?
@KinkyFliedel4 жыл бұрын
Nah, they're just playing a scene. Basically, the whole song is telling about different households forced to share the meat of a cat under hard times, the refrain being "It is true, it really is!". Towards the end, the two on the right end up simulating some gossip-argument. One of them acting sceptic about the veracity of the story. One of the exchange being "-So is it all true? -Of course it is!" the bass player tries to mingle in affirming its true and gets shooed away by the guitarist playing the "sceptic one". They're just imitating countryside tattletales getting worked up over silly rumours, no actual hard feelings in the video.

@@user-bm5om8xf5c They visited the US some years back and met with some people here with questionable associations. Pictures of them excitedly pointing at a ship named “Lenin.” Little things. I have a friend who is Finnish and he told me about the conflicts between the Red Finns and the White Finns. Just some things. They seem like red Finns.

Does anyone have the lyrics for this? I can only find the first verse: Käytiinpä kerran Tuutarissa, siel' paistettiin emäkissa, Это правда, это правда, это правда, всё была.
@Zashtan7 жыл бұрын
I think this is in Ingrian Finnish dialect (since Tuutari is in Ingria and it sounds like eastern Finnish) so I don't understand all of it, but I'll try to go by ear and make a clumsy translation. Kävi ne kerran Tuutarissa // once they went to Tuutari siellä paistettiin emäkissa // where a mother cat was cooked Это правда, это правда // it's true, it's true это правда, всё была // it's true, all of it pantiin suureet (something) // they put (something on/in something) piälle ripsuttiin sokerihiekkaa // sprinkled sugar on top Это правда... siin sit hyvvää paistii tehtii // it was made into a good steak pantii (something) // they put (some spices I guess?) Это правда... sit siell' tullit jakajaiset // then it was time to dish it out kuka enemmän vua saisi // who would get the most Это правда... sit siellä tullit jakajaiset // then it was time to dish it out tuli sinne miehet sekä naiset // both men and women arrived Это правда... kyl siel tuli paljon työtä // it was a load of work, indeed alettiin jakkaan kyllii myötä // they started to deal it out by the villages Это правда... piän ne saivat Kotsaloiset // The Kotsaloinens (a family or village) got the head hännän saivat Sintosoiset // The Sintosoinens got the tail lihan saivat Kekkilöiset // The Kekkilöinens got the meat tuasta suuttut Raskeloiset // which angered the Raskeloinens (not entirely sure about that one) Это правда... putkaholliit avosuita (can't make out what this is) saivat paljaita kylkiluita // they got bare ribs Это правда... Putkakylät ilman jäivät // the Putkakyläs were left with nothing kymmenen kertaa (something) // ten times (they came to get meat, could be) Tuli kissa jaketuks! // So the cat was shared! Это правда... Oliko tämä правда vai ei? // Was this true or not? Tämä oli правда! // Yes, it was true! (don't know what the Russian stuff in the end is because I don't know the language)
@stariyczedun6 жыл бұрын
One of the Russian-Finnish exchanges in the end of the song: - Правда это, (some Finnish word), правда! (It's true, I'm telling you!) - Где правда-то? Коммунизм был правда! (How it could be true? Same as Communism!)

@@stariyczedun IS this group pro-communist?
@stariyczedun4 жыл бұрын
@@Pteromandias most likely not, the communism reply was a sarcastic one. Also I doubt any sane Russian Finn can be pro-soviet after what the gov done to them. The ww2 deportation was borderline genocide.

@@stariyczedun What's going on at 3:21 between the bass player and the guitar player? I thought they were just joking but the bass player looks seriously angry.
