It's not bad, but I've had quite a few bugs including one that broke a quest and a lot of random jank like this. I think I like Dead Island 1 more with the bigger maps and better characters.

We shall never know.

Yeah this is for once the statues move up, I couldn't find a way down to the 4th floor and saw a video where you jump down onto the balcony railing. I did that, then ran around to see what was there and it just takes you back up to the 7th floor and I laughed at how I missed the stairs down.

This is a mod, but in vanilla Dark Souls 2 you will find Estus Shards in a few locations, use the Emerald Herald in Majula to upgrade the amount of flask uses. For upgrading the strength of the flask, you will find Undead Bone Shards, burn those in the Majula bonfire to get +2 +3 ect.

@@duckyy8655 Ah ok then, in that case there's shards hidden in Cardinal Tower, Black Gultch, Iron Keep, Brightstone Cove Tseldora and one in Lost Bastille in a new side area Just as you hit the bridge taking you to Lost Sinners area. The bone dusts are after each lord soul boss and the one in Majula Manor chest! Happy exploring 🤘 Edit: The shards add more than one charge to the flask, hence there only being 5 of them. You should have 15 uses like me when you have them all.

Kiln of the First Flame when you first go there in the mod. Throne Watcher and Defender are different bosses in the mod found way earlier on on their own.

@@checkmate5336 Yeah mate they're just in different places as individual bosses. I actually like a lot of the changes this mod made even if some of them felt weird at first. DS 2 would have done way better if it was given the time it needed without the engine changes and all that stuff I think.

Some of it does feel strange, but the gameplay feels way better. R2 attacks are my go to for these mod videos and I almost never use them in vanilla lol

​@@vazazell5967DS2 is painfully easy to level up in, you're basically given souls at a rapid fire pace, not even this mod is safe from it. Also, it's not like the outcome would've changed if he were 30 levels lower or something, it's just 2 Prowling Magus and an enemy reskin

@@Clarity_Control this mod is exactly safe from it, my main struggle with this mod was never having enough souls for anything. Hell, DS2 is not painfully easy to level up in either, it's the case ONLY for scholar due to it's inflated enemy density which makes you get more souls which makes it easier to kill enemies and it turns into a loop of overpoweredness till you reach dlcs which are hard as balls.

Your barbie dolls are easier.

Yeah that's fair, the extra speed can be a bit hit or miss but I enjoy it more than vanilla now I'm used to it.

For sure this one took me a couple of tries to get and even then I was messy.

To be fair I probably came to this fight overprepared. This area is connected to Brightstone Cove in the mod and I didn't figure out the path in until the end of the playthrough (I missed a pharro's lockstone door like an idiot). Although now that you mention it I do see what you're saying with regards to the DS3 DLC fight. I still like this more than 2 more Ava's though, and it's the first fight of the area not the co-op run to the arena it is in vanilla.

Still more original then the normal Lud and Zallen fight in my opinion.

I am sorry, but this fight in ds3 didn't had any unique parts, it was one of the worst fights in the game

@@schnozgaming989 It was definitely, the arena was nice though and the npc is only cool because it has one of the most fun PvP weapons, the fight was horrible in ds3 and here it's equally bad just easier.

I had the intentions of showing the bosses more but they all died pretty fast to the lightning uchi so I just kept going 😂If you don't go through Heide's Tower first the run to McDuffs without upgrades is a bit challenging but after that it's fairly smooth sailing in terms of damage.

The mod makes fights a ton harder and quite faster too. Some fights are relatively easy as they should be like heides throne watcher fight. Beside that. If u're underleved and or had low adp and health. U're free to go and die 😂. I myself play this mod at 1.5-2 game speed and think that it's decent

To be honest I'm not sure what was going on with a lot of the DS2 PvE. One of my favourite things with this mod is bosses I'm used to beating easily can actually kill me pretty fast if I don't pay attention. The faster attack speed on some moves messes with me too, I played around 1200 hours of DS2 all up so the muscle memory is hard to fight against.

@@Fatman4our2wenty yeah a lot of the bosses are pretty easy, even for new players. I bet a lot of the people who played this after dark souls 1 thought so too back in 2014. I played Demons souls Dark Souls 1 and then didn’t play any until Elden Ring. When I played Dark Souls 2 I thought a lot of the bosses sucked and I don’t know if it is because they’re mandatory so they made them easier than something like Darklurker which is optional but idk lol

@@JellyJman If you played the Scholar of the First Sin version apparently From Soft nerfed a lot of the bosses. I played DS2 day 1 but I don't really remember what it was like too much. SotFS is when I got into PvP and co-op a lot so I really only played PvE to get builds ready.

I thought it might not work but the dragon died too fast.....

That's kind of why I showed the Soul of a Monarch at the start, I attacked him a few times when I first got there and he didn't flinch so I came back with the souls and this happened....

@@Fatman4our2wenty oh yeah I figured, otherwise he’s just a pushover with extremely high defense and becomes a HP sponge. One time I fought him in NG with 2 souls with a 10+ ice rapier and RoB and Flynn and I was still only doing 80 damage. The fight took almost 6 mins lol but he was still easy

@@JellyJman The amount of times I have fought him on the first meeting out of sheer stubbornness while wasting a few repair powders is shameful 😂

Yeah but I'm not sure if it's for every attack. The mod author did a good job, it feels like there's more variation between attacks than vanilla.

Yeah I'm not sure, visually it fits the area I guess. I think the fight was supposed to be tougher but I had explored a couple of other areas first and upgraded my weapon a decent amount.

My guess is that it was a female knight. I think there are maybe 3 in the game. Or maybe it's that her color scheme fits the area.
