I grew up in Johnson Projects, lived in 1840 Lex and then 2070 3rd Ave, from 1957 until 1972. It wasnt dangerous when we lived there. I Went to P.S. 57

I lived there during the pandemic. Many neighbors died and there were hundreds of candles at the entrances of buildings where residents died. Costco is 10 minutes away by foot, probably the only one in Manhattan, also that one Target that just closed, and ALDI, one of the best stores for groceries.
