Nah I don’t think it runs hot at all! It’s well padded but nowhere near the bigger plus version so more breathable fore sure. Not sure if it’s the same for the ones made with x pac but this colorway has no problem with that at all.

I love my Metro Tote bag. Its sleek and lighter. Im torn between Bravo and Metro, but that front Go Pocket of Metro tote for my iphone is just so convenient without opening a zipper which i find so annoying sometimes 😅

Amazing I never knew Alpaca was based in Australia. I love Bellroy bags and Alpaca I thought was not as accessible or more pricey. I will have to check it out as I live in the same city where they are headquartered. 😂

Also, wanted to ask if you saw the “Paul McCartney” sign, east of Arcadia, Oklahoma; in 2008, Paul and his girlfriend Nancy drove the old Route 66 road, to celebrate his 66th birthday, in a 1989 Ford Bronco. They weren’t sure if they were still on the old Route, and stopped and asked a man who was outside working. I like this one for the office. The blue is really nice too though but probably more for travel. I reviewed the Daily Plus in the blue x pac actually for another video. Also this one is in the cordura ripstop material which costs a little less than the x pac.

I really love this color but I feel like it draws too much attention? I live in a bad part of Detroit so i have to be somewhat careful of my surroundings in and out of public transit

@@outenthelightsI've had to go to Chicago for business with a couple people. My bag was left in the car my friend drove there. We got off at a restaurant and by the time we came out the car had been broken into. My black bag was left on the ground floor of the backseat but their green and white backpacks were taken. Mine probably had more valuables than theirs too. I'd like to think it had something to do with them doing a quick glance breaking the window and taking what they could see. We don't have car thefts like that in Detroit. We're more like armed robbers. Anyway I know it's bad everywhere but I thought I'd tell part of why I think the way I do.

Able Carry bags are so nice. The Daily Plus is my dream bag, but it's quite expensive and there would be customs charges for me too. Maybe one day! Keep making these relaxing videos!

To me, it looks like it has very small openings and is harder to load and see what you have inside. Like the color, though.

I stuffed it pretty full with the umbrella and water bottle. I’d say just use one or the other and you’ll have tons of room and will be able to see better!

Hmm honestly no idea. I know the bag itself weights 3 lbs 8 ounces though. Whatever it was, I had no problems traveling internationally with this setup.

Much too small for a weekend bag. Maybe for just overnight ... your bag was stuffed to the gills, and I can't imagine your clothes would look any kind of presentable after being squished like that for a few hours travel. Maybe as an every day carry....

Yep, you’re totally right! I don’t think it’s too small liter wise though. I’ve traveled with under 15 liter bags before just fine. It’s more of the triangular shape that makes it pretty tough to pack so this is definitely more of a budget everyday carry!

It’s a tad small, but there’s definitely room to compress stuff into the main bucket of the bag. It seems to me that the small items would still fit into the small spaces between the shirts.

I usually use the hotel's compli tiny soap bars/shower gels to wash my clothes and (for germaphobes like yours truly) bring/use a foldable silicone bowl or one of those foldable nylon dog bowls to do my laundry in.

I like the concept of travel laundry. However, I find it unappealing to clean my clothes in a sink that may have been used by other hotel guests to wash their hands and spit while brushing their teeth. Even though cleaning services do their best, how can one be certain that the sink is completely sanitized?

As an alternative, you can bring a roll-top dry bag (sea to summit and outdoor research are good brands) or scrubba bag (a bit more expensive) for laundry. Use it as a compression packing cube while traveling and "wash machine" for laundry.

Yeah totally get that. Definitely not for everyone. I guess there are some other ways to potentially do it without putting your clothes in the sink like maybe putting the laundry sheet in a glass of water instead and then kind of pouring it onto any clothes you need to wash while holding them up in the shower. Might be more of a hassle but could solve the problem.

I use my bar soap - Dr Bronner's cut down for travel. I use it for laundry as well as shampoo and body wash. If at hotel I will use a spare towel to dry clothes by squeezing by hand before rolling it in a towel and standing on it to squeeze out extra moisture. I find that dries much faster than squeezing alone.

Very nice. I have the OG kickstarter version of this bag (with the shoe/sweaty clothes compartment). Not nearly as refined as they are now, but I still keep it in rotation.

Yeah! My brother has the miyoo mini plus so I’ve tried that out and it’s super fun. Love that Anbernic one you mentioned too, especially the GB Advanced SP form factor - so cool. Also really like the RG280V - seems like a nice size. Which system do you use?

This looks to be a well designed bag, and you can't deny that it's beautiful! Its price point is more than I want to spend. I have a 19" soft sided spinner by Travelpro, and a hard sided full size carry on that I picked up locally. They've worked well for me. Cool video - liked the upbeat music and your thorough review.

Thanks so much for the continued support! I love how thoughtfully designed Aer products are! They are so aesthetically beautiful. That being said, I do think for the most part I’ll be sticking to backpacks but this is nice for something like packing for a formal occasion.

Interesting but not for me at least for carry on. I only use hard cases when on trips where I might be doing shopping or bringing gifts. And then it would be a mid size suit case. I would be interested to see your use case as it doesn't seem typical for your usual needs.

You’re totally right, this isn’t my usual type of bag. I’ll still stick to the small personal item backpacks for 99% of my trips but having this in the lineup now for any kind of formal occasion is really nice. It’s the right size for a suit and dress shoes and it’s wedding season right now so it’ll get a little use soon. I’ll be doing a video in the coming weeks with this suitcase on this exact thing - packing for weddings.

I always see reviewers talk about bag pockets for keys or wallets. I would NEVER even consider keeping my keys or wallet in a bag. Much too easy to lose, or get stolen. Keys and wallet ALWAYS stay on your person. (not that I am saying you are advocating that).

I use a similar Duffel that I've had for years. It's great for the gym. Plenty of room to throw in my work clothes (i don't have a locker). I usually keep my training clothes, water bottle, first aid kit, protective glasses in their with a small hand towel. Even though it's packable I've not used that function as it's dedicated use. Love the light weight and durable fabric. Also it's not expensive so I don't have to baby it.
