Just FYI, the bats or “keese” thing was programmed that way. When you kill the “master” of the room the others die with it. There’s no distinguishing features so it’s kinda just dumb luck if you kill it early. Anyway, I’ll stop being a know-it-all. Great vid. Can’t wait to see the fight with Ganon.

All dungeons have keys. You can come net positive in some like the first three by using bomb walls to navigate around locked doors. You can also use the pirouette trick on level 1. Enter the dungeon then immediately exit and then walk back in the dungeon again. That first locked door will be opened because of how the game stores doors and where Link enters. And there's a four headed Gleeok in lvl 8 and I think two of them in second quest.

Blue candle can only be used once per room. Red candle can be used an infinite number of times; two blasts at a time.

Yeah, rooms with shutter doors won't have staircases.

Wood sword and candle do 1 damage White sword, wooden arrows and wand do 2 damage Magic sword, silver arrows and bombs do 4 damage Boomerang does 0 damage but can kill 0 hp enemies like bats You can also use the wand and sword at the same time to get the sum damage of both weapons. Only works against enemies that the wand does damage to obvious. So no wizzies and darknuts melee only damage from the wand. Blue potion is one use. Red potion is 2 uses. Red items are always the "upgraded" ones. Rings, candles and potions.

Git gud, dude. 😂 I’m totally kidding. I grew up with the original Zelda game (in my 40s now) and I know that the game can be a pain in the ass if you’re not used to the way Link moves. The rewind is totally warranted in this dungeon. I discovered your channel from an earlier Zelda video that was in my recommended. Keep grinding away at it and I’ll keep watching. 👍

In Hardmode, you can die any number of times, but in the Hardcore Character Setting death is permanent. I never play on hardcore lmao
