Looks like a great day! When you rented the car, how did you specify you wanted to pick it up at the port?

When we rented on Turo we added to the “Note” section that we were arriving on the Disney Wonder and wanted to have the car dropped off at the port. The owner sent a text with a map showing where he’d leave the car. I think we paid an extra $20 because of the coordination on their side, but the convenience was worth it for us. Thank you for watching my vlogs 🥰 I’d recommend bringing: A good raincoat (I brought my Athleta RainOut Sutra Long Trench), water resistant or waterproof shoes (I have the ON waterproof cloudrunners), hat and gloves. I’d definitely recommend bringing layers especially if you’re more used to warmer weather. After a while my Alaskan self even felt cold at times lol

I forgot to add a caption at the cup of noodles part! We actually bought them while we were in Canada and brought them onboard. I know it may be silly considering that there’s so much food to eat onboard but I just knew I was gonna want ramen at some point 😂 Thank you for watching 💫

It was pretty much smooth sailing in the Gulf of Mexico during our cruises! There was a day or 2 when it rained a lot, but we didn’t encounter any waves We typically sail Forward or Aft for all of our cruises because we like being closer to the less busy elevators. I tend to get motion sickness but usually a Bonine right when I wake up lasts me through the whole day Thanks for watching! 😊

Renting the car is the only way to do it, the 13 mile bus ride to Mendenhall for two is more expensive than renting a car. Absolutely ridiculous. Worst thing is that they don’t allow Ubers or cheap city bus to drop off there.

Wow, I didn't even both looking at the excursion offerings in Juneau! I agree, renting a car is the best way to explore Juneau. Not only was it more affordable than doing a tour, it was nice having the freedom to meander around. Thank you for watching and leaving a comment!

We did a Port Adventure in Skagway and in Ketchikan and as much as I enjoyed them I love having the freedom to not run on anyone else's schedule... Well, aside from knowing when the all aboard time is LMAO!

Yay! Are you guys going to try to check out Nugget Falls? I think the sign said it’s 45 minutes round trip! I think my only regret while we were in Juneau was that we didn’t make the time to do it And thank you, I guess the saying that the 3rd time is the charm is always true 🤗

Our last stop in Juneau in October was very short and it was rainy and cold! Our tram ride was cancelled due to weather and our friend’s whale watching excursion was also cancelled. Leighton had to go to Tracy’s Crab Shack for crab. I let him there with our friends so I could do a little bit of shopping at the large gift store.

Awww! That was the typical weather I experienced there in March 2018 and also in the fall time in prior years. I had my rain coat and umbrella ready for the occasion. Did Leighton like Tracy’s Crab Shack? That was also on our list, but we decided to skip it since we knew we were going to a crab feast in Ketchikan the following day

@@linmagination Yes. We went there on our first Alaska cruise and he loves the king crab legs. I’m not a seafood fan so I preferred to do some shopping since we had such a short amount of time on this last trip.

Thank you for watching them! I personally don’t think you need to bring rain boots, our waterproof sneakers were just fine. I only brought my rain boots because they’re yellow and I wanted to wear them for pictures 😂 I hope your upcoming trip in August is wonderful! 🚢 I miss the Wonder and the southeast so much already

I loved the train ride so much! Me and Sean spent most of our time outside on the platforms. The fry bed at Klondike Doughboy is a must, it was huge! Perfect for sharing though I totally could have eaten that thing by myself because it was soooo good 🤣

Great video, really useful. We’re going on this cruise in August, travelling from the UK. We can’t wait. Glad to see we can get wings on room service. It’s one of our favourite things to eat when we come over to America!

Loving the vlogs and information you have provided. We especially are curious about the Fairmont hotel. We will be cruising in Sept. this year. Our flight also leaves Vancouver at 5pm. How long did it take you to disembark and get to the Fairmont? Did you use the Disney bus or what mode of transportation did you use on debarkation day to get to the airport? Thank you for all the info so far. Patiently waiting for more videos on this cruise.

I’m so glad you’ve been find the vlogs helpful! ✨ We had 2nd dining so breakfast was at 8 AM on debarkation day and the luggage tags we received were Goofy. We were the last group called to leave the ship at 9:30 AM so it made for a leisurely morning We used the DCL transportation bus and got to the airport at about 10:40 AM I called the Fairmont to reserve our day room while we were in Juneau... I’m not sure if they charge by the amount of people in the room, but for the 3 of us it was $300 CAD for 4 hours or $324 CAD for 6 hours. We did 4 hours and it was so nice to relax before our flight

They don’t have any to rent onboard, they did have one or two models you could purchase at White Caps but I highly recommend just bringing your own... I think the ones at the gift shops were nearly $100!

Love the content... I just was on the Disney wonder Alaskan cruise voyage from june 3rd to yesterday june 10th 2024 o loved it and will do it again thats for sure... So when u had your dinners in the themed restaurants like automated Palace and the rest did u have the first round dining time then going to see the Broadway shows in the Walt Disney theater or did yall go the see the Broadway shows first and went to the 2nd dining time... We had the first dinning time then the shows. I can't remember what the first restaurant we were at day one but are server for the holw voyage was Omar and his assistant i miss the beds and aall the crew already. Well keep up the great work and catch yall on the next one
