You could try Pliers but you might break the plug and then that would be a real mess. Yes I think they should have used a metal plug

Just installed a new carb on my lt 1042. Wont start, not getting fuel. Put a new pump in and lines. Selonoid clicks over, idk im at a lost
@fromcarstocomputers7261Ай бұрын
Make sure it will run at all, give it a shot of "starting fluid and see if it will start" if so then you know you have firing. See it could be getting fuel but not firing and that could be many things, but it could be a bad kill switch like the one under the seat or the blade engage or the neutral gear one if any of these are acting up then it can stop the firing

Bubbles in coolant bad head gasket?
@fromcarstocomputers7261Ай бұрын
The head gasket was good the system can let out a small amount of bubblse when it is getting a fill up ( from air in the hoses a such )... but this did have a leak in the heater core as well and I changed it out soon after this video was made, so yes the system was not flowing just right because of the leak

i was converting my Thunderbird to Mustang Cobra front brakes and i could not get a good seal between the caliper and brake hose block. your trick did the, er, trick! i just gave them a good wiggle with a crescent wrench and then added just another nudge to the banjo bolt and the leaks finally stopped.

Same problem with me. Good video, but, I'm still confused as to which hose size goes from tank filter to bulb and carburetor and return line. Hard to see routing of lines to make sure they're not pinched during reassembly.
@fromcarstocomputers7261Ай бұрын
You could just try each hose until you notice it runs good. Not the proper way but I think I did that myself on this thing

Installed the trimmer head without the spacers by accident. Any thoughts to help get the head off now?
@fromcarstocomputers7261Ай бұрын
If it is very tight then you could remove the shaft end ( turn handle and push button ) then use some vice grips to hold the inside shaft from moving as you try to turn the bump head off.. but tat inside shaft will not hold a lot of stress so be careful

Not without seeing it. some have a release on the sides and some have small release on the side of the button itself and some have a button that will turn off to remove.. there are just too many designs for the to guess at it.
