Thanks! My chestnut mare has started bucking on the left lead. Im going to pay attention to that spot. Note: she sometimes gets sassy even tries to kick when i try to work that spot. She has a hard cycle as well and we are in spring. Any advice on where to treat mares in heat?
@101kiwiАй бұрын
At 1:14 are you saying I treat it where the 'fur' stops? Meaning along the edge of the hairline, thanks

Loved how you said your osteopath based massage I'm an rmt osteopath based, people and horses but gave horses away.. except my own and few close friends. You have inspired me to look back into it. "Wild and Free" may be a combination of West Virginia's, "Wild and Wonderful" with New Hampshire's, "Live Free or Die", but there's no "Wild and Free" as a state motto, here. As an aside, one motto that embraces the state's equine heritage is Kentucky's, "Unbridled Spirit".

So does the soreness behind the withers comes from just workouts or saddle issues? Reason I’m asking is that I have been riding in a brand new saddle for the past 2 weeks and my massage therapist found knots behind the withers and thinks it could be from the saddle 🤔

I had an off the track Standardbred that trotted very wide in the hind. Once he got going you could feel the entire hind end drop. Lots of power.
