if i was part of the police force i couldve handle the matter in a much smarter way..and to you the indian fella in the video i hope youre honest about yourself,nothing can be hidden in secret forever..there will come a time when the things that we hide in secret will be shown very clear to the world,its cleareness will be like throwing a handful of seeds on the rooftop of your house. Secondly if youre doing illegal stuffs, dont try to outsmart the police just because youre more educated than they do because fijians we may be stupid as most people label us as but we sure know how to discipline law breakers thats why most of the police officers go to jail and you will see that most of them are native fijians.its better to force people to change in this time of world we are living in. i relly hope that you get the poi t of what im tryna say...for your own precaution✌ if youre selling liquior please stop it. money wont save you but truth and justice will

Police in Fiji lots of young intake and lack of knowledge in the law. Even if the guy is selling illegally the way they just want to deal with the situation make them look stupid in front of the camera. Fiji Police should do more educating there officer

It's not about hating Indians in Fiji. What The Indo Fijian community is got to understand and finally change within them is to stop changing The vibe!/way of life/ dependence on monetary value/ being involved within specific community or culture based like Hinduism. Adopt more islander based mentality because we are all Fijians and we are born and bred in Fiji for generations. Does this make sense to anyone? It cuts so deep and hurts so much when when people overseas ask where are you from, and you reply you are from Fiji and their first reaction is always so negative towards The Indo Fijian people, so for years it has pondered my mind as to why? And I know why! Your home and your loyalty is to Fiji and Fiji alone and it should be! If Fiji falls or rises you go alongside with it. It should run in your blood, period! Please don't get me wrong, it's freedom of speech and as anyone, I am entitled to my opinions!

I have been through this kinda talk before, and i have seen how officers lack knowledege in trying evade civilians rights, please FPF educate your officers, if we civilians respect you as an officer please respect us as a civilian and dont use force on us. We are fijians.

Like when he asked where is the evidence???, they should've answered "Sir, if you were assaulted by your Father and reported, should Police find evidence or arrest him at the same moment???.

[LIQ 70] Illegal sale, exposing for sale or supply of liquor (1) Subject to the provisions of this Act, a person shall be guilty of an offence who-(a)sells or exposes for sale or exposes for supply any liquor without holding a licence authorising him or her to sell that liquor; (b)being the holder of a licence, sells or exposes for sale liquor except at the place from which that liquor can be lawfully sold, shall be guilty of an offence; or (c)being the holder of a licence, sells or exposes for sale liquor outside the permitted hours set out in the Schedule at the place from which that liquor can lawfully be sold. (2) For the purposes of subsection (1), any liquor which is placed anywhere in any shop shall be presumed to be liquor exposed for sale unless the person concerned proves to the contrary. (3) Any person who commits an offence under this section, shall on conviction be liable-(a)on a first conviction, to a fine not exceeding $5,000 or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 3 years or to both such fine and imprisonment; (b)on a second conviction, to a fine not exceeding $8,000 or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 5 years or to both such fine and imprisonment; and (c)on a third or subsequent conviction, to a fine not exceeding $10,000 or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 7 years or to both such fine and imprisonment. (4) The court by or before which any person is convicted of an offence under subsection (1)(a) or (b) shall declare all liquor found in his or her possession and the receptacles containing it to be forfeited.
