John Eustace is far more of a gentleman than I would have been in his position. Birmingham are down because of their moronic owners. "No Fear Football". It would be laughable if it wasn't so pathetic.
@saralgupta52505 сағат бұрын
The owner said that they’re the biggest club in town. Well one team is heading for Champions League and the other is heading out of Championship. Wannabe owners from America that don’t understand football should stay out of football. Bigger clubs would still survive(Chelsea) but smaller clubs will not.

Off the field with massive plans and the land already purchased it is on the way up. Unfortunately 10 years of stagnant growth has resulted in relegation. Not Rowetts fault we got stronger with him in charge. If Mowbury can’t return I hope Rowett stays.

Sack John Eustace after beating rivals West Bum when they were SIXTH IN THE TABLE. He goes on to Blackburn…. Only 1 of these teams will be playing in the Championship Haha. Great for Eustace and his staff! Just hope Brady and company are good to the staff that are going to be impacted by this relegation. No layoffs please
@OkayChap7 сағат бұрын
There won't need to be layoffs. Birmingham have the revenue of a midtable premier league side. The most revenue generated in the history of the football league. They will be fine.

Don't let the American Propaganda fool you. Many many clubs have heard this dribble before and never materialised. You think exchanging Premiership football or at least challenging for it in exchange for League One and a new stadium, concerts and a fan zone is a good deal? 😂😂. My priority is on the pitch... football. Wealthy Americans are not the same as Rich Americans.. if they had money they would have spent it... they had opportunities to spend. They could have ( if they are as ambitious and wealthy as they claim) bought top class players.. Premiership players... they could have done that and still build a stadium, host UB40 and sold a dream at the same time. When your business brain tells you the team comes second after a stadium and hot dogs then I really don't think you have your priorities in the correct order. Premiership football or new stadium, what would be your choice? If we need a new and bigger stadium, marketing and commercial assets then that worries me... maybe they are not as wealthy as they want people to think. Suspicious. You have either got money or you need to generate it.... which is it? One thing is for certain, a place in the Premier league would have generated money !!!
@vinylhorror7 сағат бұрын
This may be the smartest comment people will read all day about the subject. Spot on Edit: Grab me tickets to the UB40 show please 🤣🤣🤣 What a reference that is mate.

What a stupid comment Tom Wagner is worth 7 Billion believe me he has money the blues team has had to survive on loans and frees bad owners from the past and EFL rules cauld only spend so much we have had work done on st Andrews to say he has not spent money get facts right

Big commiserations from a QPR fan. I can imagine how you feel, and rightly so. I can't understand why John Eustace was sacked in order to get Wayne Rooney. It just doesn't make sense, considering that if John Eustace was still in charge that Birmingham would be in the play offs. I truly hope you will bounce back and be bsck in the Championship next season.
@edwardferry824710 сағат бұрын
Wagner thought it would be easy, like buying a McDonalds franchise. Sacking Eustace because he wasn’t glamorous enough for the ‘new’ Birmingham cost the club dear. Good to see Eustace (who knows football inside and out) put Mr Showbiz in his place. Wagner thinks he bought a sleeping giant but long suffering Blues fans would have advised him it’s more akin to a coma.
@saralgupta52505 сағат бұрын
Same would happen to Chelsea but it’s big enough to survive (some help from Saudi doesn’t hurt either 😂) American owners need to understand football first.

A class act. Understood the club and us fans, was always 100% honest with us, knew the limitations of his team and did a really good job. I'm sure he'll go a long way as a manager.
@davidcoleman524612 сағат бұрын
To be honest Plymouth, Wednesday and Blackburn have pulled off some results where you didn't expect them to. Where do we start with the inquest? Was it the 3-3 draw at Plymouth after being 3-1 up for instance? We shouldn't really have been in with a shout today , we were talking must-win at Millwall and every game since. Well done Wednesday, you seemed dead and buried at one stage, Eustace got some good results away for Blackburn, and Plymouth getting that win against Leicester and Hull today, well deserved.
@mattw230812 сағат бұрын
Just one result going our way would’ve done it, certainly weren’t down and out. I think if we’re looking where to point for the team, 2 points in 2 weeks against the other relegated teams isn’t good enough. Ultimately it’s the owners who are to blame. Ridiculous decision to sack Eustace to bring in Rooney whose managerial claim to fame is barely surviving relegation with Derby as well as being someone the Yanks have heard of from his stint in MLS.
