As a Wildlife Photographer for 5 years now. This made a huge impact in my life. It made me really want to push my photography and go out and experience the world. Also I really took to heart the moment when he has the photo moment of the ghost cat but instead of taking the shot he enjoys the moment for himself. It taught me to not stay behind the camera the whole time and to take a moment and enjoy it for myself.

Here we are, 8 years later. It all started with this movie. Quit my lawyer job, had no money, moved to another country, got a degree in computer science, 3h commute, new language, worked a lot, lived 2 years in 10 square meter room, started to work in new profession in late 20s. Found the love. Lived together for a year on one bed 1m wide. Now building my own software company. Still lose myself in the zone. Still running. Never stop:) UPDATE 2022: I am building a house now as well. Applied for mortgages, again, tons of rejections, found one eventually). Never give up. UPDATE 2023: Proposed to love of my life who went with me through all struggles these last years (and still going). Before I found her I was actively searching for a year (daily) for my soulmate. Nothing good happens simply out of nowhere, you have to persist. To whoever reads this: don't give up. UPDATE 2024: Moved into the house with my fiancée! I could never imagine I could be a homeowner, and living in the a good place with a person I love. That's was so unimaginable when I watched this movie all those years ago (I cried occasionally for several years after watching it), something beyond my wildest dreams. If there is one rule in this world, it is "get up". Because everyone falls, all the time, but not everyone gets up. So get up!

Ben stiller is really an unexpected man

If you observe what Ben Stiller even does in real life (of course he does brilliant films in reel life), it tells you that he stands up and tries his best for the weak in society anywhere in the world. With movies as well he tends to do simple normal human being characters. In a way it seems like he is trying to say to the world of normal day to day humans that they have a superhuman in them. He exhudes a bear hug and a warmth for common people. Thats exactly what the greats like Gandhi, mandela etc used to emit. And that is why Ben Stiller is so great, a human and an expert in his profession of acting!
