The wing is carbon because it does not take a beating. The splitter is made out of wood because they get destroyed and replaced just about every race. Making it out of carbon would be way too expensive. I found you guys from watching the DDE video. Can't wait to watch More of your videos.

As a pre-warning to all of the Americans you’re more than likely to attract, you’ll have to start referring to it as a “stock car” or simply “car”. There is no such thing as a “NASCAR” - that’s similar to saying “I’m driving an F1”
