When adding blocks if you click add block at the bottom you can choose where it is placed in the chain rather than dragging and dropping. Saves a step :)

If you choose an amp that doesn't have a good Master volume choice, you can use "Amp Level" to the same end and it works as well.
@JonsGuitarGarage5 күн бұрын
Yeah it was a little confusing at first having master volumes, amp volumes and preset volumes but once you get the hang of it it's very useful

Feel free to download and make changes to the preset if you have a TMP, I'm sure you could create some cool effects adding drive or fuzz pedals into the chain!

What a fun list! I remember a lot of those famous guitars. Personally I'm a minimalist (1 Tele + 1 ES335 electric, plus a jazz box and an acoustic all I need). If $ was no object I'd probably change my tune and get some vintage gear.
@JonsGuitarGarage8 күн бұрын
Thank you, yes these are the guitars etched in my brain mainly from the 80's but I agree I think I'd have to dip into the vintage market too 😁

I've damaged my hearing a little over the years so it is very possible that I'm not hearing the higher frequencies (ironic on a PG preset 😁) so it might just need the mic moving back to the cap edge position? Thanks for the feedback 👍

I haven't no, but there's plenty of people on the "Fender Tone Master Pro" and "Fender Tone Master Pro User Group" Facebook groups who are posting their reviews of how their gigs went and it's been mostly positive, in fact I think the negatives are mainly around system crashes which may have been fixed in the latest firmware updates

Great video excited to try your preset, I have a Tonemaster Pro with a Tonemaster FR12. Returned a Helix LT and HeadRush FR108 just couldn't get the sound where I wanted it and it was a breeze to dial in with the Tonemaster Pro. What speaker setup are you using?
@JonsGuitarGarage21 күн бұрын
I have a QSC CP-8 but I try to dial the tones in with headphones too. It does depend on your pickups with the TMP more so than a tube amp.

Try "The Echo Song" by Paul Gilbert for a challenge. Like he says "Honor Thy Staccato." With the right delay and technique, you'll get it. And once you do, you'll never want to stop lol. It gives you the biggest feeling of accomplishment. It also makes you say "Really? This is it??" But that's what makes it awesome.
@JonsGuitarGarage23 күн бұрын
I love that track! I used to know about half of it but it's so long and remembering that many notes is only half the problem, not making a mistake is crucial 😁
