What about with Cisco Jabber during calls? I can't find it

I believe this is a feature that is only available in the current versions of Cisco Webex. The old Jabber platform did not have background noise cancellation. Hopefully you can upgrade soon!

A VM is schedulled for backup every 9:45pm. If a disaster happened at 1:00 am and back to normal at 1:30 am, is it means that the RPO is 3 hours and 15 mnts, and the RTO is 30 minutes?

No matter where I go or what I do, I cannot stop webex from starting when windows10 starts up. 1st - I disabled in task manager don't work - its like a virus that re-enables webex. 2nd I went to settings in webex there's a checkbox that lets you enable or disable at startup - doesn't work!!! Whether it's checked or unchecked it still starts at startup... Right now I am uninstalling the webex VIRUS from my computer. All the information browsing I did for webex has not helped me at all... repeating processes does not stop this program from starting... advice is totally useless and all the information I browsed made it sound so simple... this program is faulty - DO NOT INSTALL until they fix this issue...

Amazing presentation technique Jeff. How did you do this? What products did you use for your handwriting and screen. Did you have a learn how to write backwards to do this?
@NSIguy1
@NSIguy1 3 жыл бұрын
Hey Paul! We're glad you like Jeff's presentation. We have a "Light Board". It is a mounted sheet of acrylic sheet illuminated by LED lights. We use a special "whiteboard marker" designed to catch the light which illuminates Jeff's writing. We have a camera set up on the other side of the acrylic window to record Jeff's presentation. We then just "flip" the whole thing in post-production to make Jeff's handwriting readable. It's a fun technique.

Hi Jeff, if there is a malware attack at the prod site then wont that affect the backup as well if it is replicated, real time? If so, how can this be avoided?
@NSIguy1
@NSIguy1 4 жыл бұрын
Hey there Val! Thanks for watching and for your great question! Here is Jeff's answer to your question... "Hi, Val! That is a valid concern, especially as malware is being developed with greater intelligence. Fortunately, there is a process to get around this, and that can be as simple as restoring a backup without Internet access long enough to remove the malware before it activates. In most cases, malware needs the Internet to check in with its home base in order to determine whether to activate or not, and Cisco AMP or another anti-malware package can help with removing the malware in the meantime. That said, there is no "easy" solution for malware, and I would strongly recommend having a conversation with a security expert in order to build a solid plan around a malware attack. I hope this helps! Also, Jeff asked me to have our Security Practice Manager, Jason Dell chime in... here is Jason's response... "Jeff is right on. Offline backups are a good consideration. Also having sufficient history in the backups offer the ability to restore from further back in time." Thanks again!!!
