as someone who has sampled that milk as an adult, it's delicious but you'd get a coronary in short order. It's meant for a tiny bean who is supposed to double in mass every couple weeks. It is not for you :)

Yeah sales suck now. A 5 year old game going on sale from 60 to 40 sucks. The devs would probably make more money if it was cheaper too, because people would actually buy it. Im not sure where this mentality of keeping a game at full price years after its release came from.
@UltimateGattai7 күн бұрын
How Fauna? it's a roughly a 2 week long sale.

Steam Sales and Bundles are the reason I currently own 467 games and 320 DLC with an average game completion rate of only 22%

I missed it too. I was earning up some money to buy games, but then I missed that end date by the time I got the money.
@Corrodias8 күн бұрын
Add 10 games to my account and pay 150, happens every single time I finish one game. That's why I need those sales; I spread the love to studios of many games I'll never play.
@angelmbm95068 күн бұрын
Objection! There is clearly a contradiction in Fauna's statements. How can she know that this summer sale is not as good as before if she misses it?!

I remember the Flash Sales that would change every day or even every few hours, you had to constantly check the store so you don't miss out on some crazy deal.
@Zootinius8 күн бұрын
Definitely miss that. We gave up flash sales so we could gain the ability to refund purchases or something like it. Tough to choose between the two.
@ivnmrtinz8 күн бұрын
I swear same things been happening to black friday in the US. We used to get crazy deals for one day and now corporations figured out they can just say "sale week" and knock off 30% on prices and people will still flock to their storefronts. We're doomed

@T3N54Z4NG3T5U8 күн бұрын
It used to be a bit of fun too since they had to cycle game discounts so one day, it was like 30% off but the next it was like 50% so you never knew when to pull the trigger so you might just be..... we have to wait to make sure it's the lowest it'll be! Part of me hated it from FOMO but part of me was like, I got the biggest deal because I was patient.

my library has 100s of games not because I got money, but because back then you really could buy 20-30 games so easily, they came in wildly discounted bundles, you could usually buy a whole game series no problem
@Illersvansen8 күн бұрын
Remember when Summer Sales had fun little gimmicks and team based events? Seems like they're not even trying anymore.
@Zootinius8 күн бұрын
They were a headache to host. Not to mention people would find a way to exploit/glitch those events to their own benefit. Valve did a great job cracking down on those problems pretty quickly. Also the number of Steam users goes up everday, so I don't blame them for mellowing out. I agree though, the seasonal events were rad, and will be missed. (Remember flash sales too? lol) 😢
