Mom birds feed babies very little at a time, but continuously during the day time. People often make a mistake by feeding a rescued babies too much at a time. Their ability to swallow is not developed yet and the food goes down the wrong way and enters into the airway (trachea or windpipe) or lungs that causes pneumonia or sudden death.

Sir I need your help 🙏😭😭🙏🙏 2days before I found a baby sparrow from garden it wasn't having any features and it's eyes wasn't opening properly... As I couldn't find it's mother I decided to take it home.. it was really energetic and hungry always and was chirping continuously but suddenly from last day it stopped chirping totally and eating less I'm really worried can you help me with what I should do now?? 🙏

The one i had lived long enough to begin to get its wing feathers and defined tail feathers, had him for a week and a 1/2, just passed away on may 15,2024, peeps flying through rainbows now..😢,ps what hurts the most is no rehab facilities were willing to help me or take him..i miss him falling asleep in my hand,and to top ut off he took his last breath in my warm hand and is forever in my broken heart..😢

Adorabile ! Ho allevato tanti piccoli uccellini e un ornitologo m iha detto che sul fondo della gabbia non bisogna mettere carta stampata perche' l'inchiostro e" un veleno per l'uccellino. Bisogna mettere la carta casa con sopra un po' di sabbia o grit. Cosi' e' anche piu' facile da sostituire ❤

he needs protein from insects maby ,because if not they will have not good growing future. many people dont know this and try feed them with weed, korn or bread. this is the worst you can do to tiny little "pirate" !! And bread isnt good for any birds.Thanks for showing us.
