Blimey, haven't seen this in 35 years. Fragments survived on an old VHS until around 1990. Then gone forever, I assumed. Proved wrong again... I'm tempted to rerecord this onto the very Scotch VHS tape it resided all those years ago.

Thanks to watching a video by Technology Connections demonstrating the format. I now know the fast forwards were them using (the professional industry standard) betacam machines, hence why we couldn't replicate it at home using VHS.

In the Indie chart, Bridewell Taxis and The Farm were both played, in the Vintage Video slot, The Alarm’s “68 Guns” as it was not an appropriate choice that week due to it being Xmas as well. Chart News segment saw Seal, C & C Music Factory, and George Michael.

Technically this film hit UK cinemas just nine months after the US release on 23rd November 1990, but the BBFC cut the 'nunchaku' out in most of the scenes in the movie even for cinema and then later home video releases on VHS, however in 2003 they were reinstated for the DVD release and as they were known to culture by now, until the 2003 TMNT series hit UK TV screens the following year (assumably a year late) in 2004 as the Beeb had to bid farewell to repeats of the 1987 series as the contract had now been expired and which made its debut on the 3rd of January 1990 over on BBC One, they were shown on satellite television part of Fun Factory on Sky Channel later Sky One in 1988 for European viewers and then Nickelodeon UK showed them at around 1993 (whereas its their current owner of the show now since the Turtles Forever movie, which was the finale of the 2003 series). The Blu-ray release got there ten years ago in the UK alongside its counterpart 90s sequels. The 'nunchaku' scenes were unedited in the United States apparently when it did hit cinemas and home video rental and release, not in Germany at around this time they were called 'Turtles' as they were opposed to be the same around the UK some way. The 1990 movie did make its UK network terrestrial premiere on the 30th of August 1993 on BBC One and before that, it was on satellite via the Sky Movies service around 1992.

Some minor anomalies with this episode of Mike And Angelo. First of all, It's not often that you ever got a scene anywhere beyond the house. Secondly, it doesn't make sense that Angelo just casually reveals his powers to Patti at the end. And that she doesn't really acknowledge the fact. Wasn't it meant to be a secret? Surely the whole point of him covering up Mike's disappearance was to conceal what he was capable of? Otherwise, he'd have just told her where he was. Strange, I don't get that. Far be it from me to ever criticize the fantastic, legendary, Grant Cathro and Lee Pressman, god forbid, but the plot to Mike And Angelo did get a little... "casual" as time went on. Anyway, the third thing is that they extended the juggling sequence in the end credits. I'm not an expert, but I do think this may be the only episode to ever feature that footage.
