Vous pourrez ainsi vous faire guider par notre équipe support si vous rencontrer une difficulté technique lors de l'installation ou de l'activation du forfait (pour rappel le forfait ne commence à être consommé que lorsque vous détecterez le réseau cellulaire du pays de destination) 😊🙏

To install your eSIM, you need an internet connection, either from your mobile operator or a Wi-Fi network, for that main reason we recommend installing your eSIM before you leave. :)

Hello @user-py2lu3yr2d Could you please confirm what your device is (brand and model) ? Could you also try to dial the free shortcut *#06# : if you have an EID number, then your device is eSIM compatible. You will then have to check if your device is unlocked by your mobile carrier

Если ваше устройство совместимо и не заблокировано, то все довольно просто 😉 Вы скачиваете приложение, устанавливаете нашу бесплатную eSIM, создаете учетную запись и выбираете интересующий вас тарифный план для следующей поездки.

So we don't yet support them.our app and install the free eSIM. All you have to do is pay to add the data packages you're interested in.

Hi Ubigi, thank you for the detailed tutorial. I am about to purchase a 50Gb plan (30 days), which will be used during a trip in Japan. I'd like to double-check, with you, the following information: while using the Ubigi eSim plan (activated, set function ON), there is no way to keep active the original provider plan (physical Sim) at the same time with Ubigi. Is that correct? Please, kindly, let me know if I missed anything, thank you.

Hello You can still let your original SIM card on, just do not select it as the source of data connectivity (which would lead to roaming charges) If you do so, you can still receive sms or phone calls in case of emergencies (taking the call or sending sms would also lead to extra charges). We would suggest to use WhatsApp 😊

On the Ubigi site, from desktop, I tried to get the eSim for my Samsung Galaxy s23 FE phone, which accepts eSIM plans (has the option in Settings). However, it is not listed on the site among the "compatible devices", therefore it doesn't allow me to install the Ubigi eSim on my device... Is there any other way to install it, please? Thanks again!

Hello @@midorinokitsune I will ask our IT Teams to add it to the list so that it's available. In that case, if you want to purchase from our website, you can pick the closest type of device (eg: Samsung Galaxy S23 or Galaxy S22) The question is to make that people checked if their device is eSIM compatible before buying. If you were buying through the app directly, we can detect and block the devices that are not compatible (to avoid people buying our service for nothing).

hello I am doctor travelling to Japan soon and I will need my personal number active for patients calls. If I use Ubigi, if I understood correctly, traditional phone calls will still be on a personal number while all activities based on internet data will be on the Ubigi esim. Both esim and physical sim will be working in different methods. Is this correct? thank you

Yes, you can use your physical SIM card and your Ubigi eSIM at the same time. You just need to apply cellular data option to your eSIM profile and you will be connected.
