Excellent points Mate, I really do get the point of a budget bike in these times, the biggest issue for me would be the weight. These cheaper bikes really do have a place in the bike market. To be honest I would be concerned about the reliability. Would be interesting to see if people have had reliability issues.

About the forks...: I have a CBF600SA for 20 years now, from new. I changed the fork seals once only in the 10 years mark. They were not even leaking, I just changed them at the time because I wanted. Never leaked. I must say here that when I changed them initialy I used after market seals and they leaked in a few months... Then I put the genuine Honda and no leaks after 10 years. There was also a notch/bump on the tube surface which probably caused the leak, I made it smooth with fine sand paper. My point is that I don't think Honda sells bad seals for the NC750 and good seals for the CBF600, why..? Sometimes the part is the same even if the part number is different yes, that happens a lot, for example these two bikes use the same oil filter but the part number is different. So, either something went wrong during installation, or non genuine seals, or the tubes are not smooth even at a tiny point.
@BykersamАй бұрын
Hi buddy, in total I have had 3 nc750x and the seal problem has occured in all 3, however I know it's not the seals as I only use dealer seals, I believe the issue is with the chroming of the stanchions, weak chroming causes them to pit and that causes erosion/ruptures in the rubber seals. I have factory re-chromed them with a 10 guarantee and so far no issues at all

Caution for anyone thinking of taking a 200 plus mile ride on this. The seat will cripple your nut sack and the cramped pegs will make you ache and squirm the whole time you’re riding. I understand that you can get a better, higher seat, and lower the pegs. The review, however, is always of the bike as is. Unless, of course stated otherwise.
@BykersamАй бұрын
I found your comment to be very interesting and I definitely think the original seat on the nc750x is of poor standard when you ride long distance, although to be fair that's most motorcycle seats, standard on foot pegs gives short term temporary relief through better blood circulation, however bikes I use long distance I always add a gell seat to them as I agree with you in that long distance has to be done on a seat that is geared for such distances often not the standard offering 👍

Excellent review! Greetings from the USA! We get a slightly different version of the XT250 in the US market, same engine and chassis, slightly different details. These bikes are marketed as “beginner” dual sport machines here, mostly for shorter riders, but I believe this is a mistake, as the XT is far more capable than riders here think. You’re proving this definitively, bravo!

How could you drive wearing a "Shalwar Qameez". A guy I knows you rode a similar bike told be his legs felt burnt after riding it wearing that dress. It's just a "by the way" question!
@Bykersam3 ай бұрын
Lol it's a good question,the truth is that different bikes create different heat, the benelli creates no heat as it is liquid cooled, however I also wear full size motorcycle adventure boots so everything is protected upto knees. I was riding slow pace and because of the heat the clothing I wore was appropriate for me although a slight disadvantage in terms of safety but nevertheless sometimes I not all waiver a little safety for more comfort when I know I'm riding in locations where there is no traffic 😊👍. I did like the question though as it had me in my toes 😉
