So does this DFP cleaner only clean the soot that supposed to burn off? Or does it also dissolve the ash that builds and fills the DPF?

I tried it anyway to hilarious effect. Foam just oozed out the hole. A colleague picked the customer up so she got to work on time. But before calling my breakdown. forced regen is a last resort .. get the pressures down with a clean will bring it all down till it can do a regen itself

What a pile of…. soot. The main thing is that spraying this staff to air intake has nothing to do with EGR cleaning. Simply because EGR is sucking gas from the exhaust hence all the soot. It is the same as treating the haemorrhoid by applying ‘Anusol ointment’ to your throat. Try to spray it in to hose that connects valve to the exhaust pipe.

can you take the plastic cover off the connector to get to the pins? mines broke right near the pin so need to somehow get this out to then repair it.
