I agree, the weapon choices are a bit odd or uncommon. The scoped rifle for certain felt more out of place, but the PPSH shows up in a lot of media like video games and movies. Which I can see why they included the PPSH. All three of the army builder figures I recently reviewed I also felt should have come with a more common standard issue rifle instead.

@josiahthibodeaux I think facepool has only released Richard Winters and Buck Compton from Easy Company so far. I don't think DiD has released any "Band of Brothers" figures yet. Though multiple companies have released a variety of other 101st Airborne Division figures.

That'll be interesting. I'll have to think hard about that one because I have the 6 inch Ghostbusters but I don't really collect in that scale anymore. Plus I back the Star Wars Vintage Collection Haslabs... hmm, I'll have to ponder that for a while if it does show up as a Haslab.

Very good review. I really want the original 1:18 Hot Wheels version of this, but the current selling price is pretty darn high. Hasbro did a really good job on this and I might actually end up buying it on Entertainment Earth as they usually offer free shipping. BTW… I just purchased that new version of Slimer Squash and Squeeze. It’s a must have. 👍🏻

@tigerclaw4537 I have a Hotwheels 1/18 Ecto 1, but I don't think it was to proper scale. I couldn't fit action figures in it. It was a bit smaller than I would have liked. I was disappointed at the time but still enjoyed the die-cast model. I can't say if it's the same one you're thinking of though. Unfortunately it's buried in my storage room, so I can't take a quick comparison photo. I'm glad you liked the review!

@LUC66631 Sometimes when we inspect something much more closely it turns out different than we imagined it to be. The combat fatigues the paratroopers wore were exceptionally baggy to begin with. Often, shrinking things down to scale can get hard for the manufacturer, but I saw no issues here besides the netting on the helmet. Otherwise, it's not a waste of money for me, I rather enjoy these types of figures.

@malcolmsoh5648 I don't think it can be disassembled without breaking it. The only interactive piece I found was the loading mechanism, and that was a pretty good detail to have even that. If they made them on the level of detail to disassemble it like an actual garand it would be quite expensive and even more difficult to do at that scale.

@malcolmsoh5648 It doesn't have any internal detail, even the clip I put in it just sort of dropped loosely into a pit under that spring slide and somewhat bounced around in there. I really can't say if it can be taken apart, but I'm fairly sure that would likely just be breaking the rifle. So if you were looking to set up a scene of a character breaking down and cleaning their rifle, I don't think you'll get that with this.

Honestly I’m surprised did didn’t do that with this particular figure, they usually go all out with details like that. If you are looking for a 1/6 m1 Garand that can be disassembled, I think solder story made a couple figures with the m1 rifle, that offer that feature. Also a 1/6 company called ti-lite used to sell an m1 rifle that can be broken down completely.

It’s likely on wiki but anyways 13 is her favorite number I heard and as I think is following theme the shattered glass has something to do with the unluckiness that can occur… Part of her identity more than specifically being a 13 wishes reference where she made her debut eventually I want to continue rewatching the movies since my first initial watch when they released I’m excited to see her appear in the show. Hopefully/ think it’s confirmed is or about to happen they released a soundtrack with a song for her Sad there won’t be a season 3 as of now due to whatever drama occurred Sorry if this was overwhelming it happens with me sometimes❤️🩹

@blueberry_ghoulfriend It was extremely helpful actually! It hadn't occurred to me that the theme for the black cat would be bad luck, LOL! I I really like that idea. This is the first I've caught news about any drama delaying the show. That's too bad. As a matter of fact it seems the last couple of years each time I find a toy line I really like it stops dead in the water. Hopefully Mattel keeps it going.

I thought it was odd that Cleo's heart would've been removed. The ancient Egyptians believed it held the spirit and that it was most important to actually leave that in the body. It was necessary for the weighing of the heart in order to pass into the underworld. So to see her have it in a canopic jar raised some questions, but it makes sense that she would keep it close to her.

I have a tendency to lean toward light novel versions of the stories but I do like manga as well. I just never invested in a series of manga.

ThreeZero never disappoints. A cheaper cousin to Hot Toys, but the quality is up there with Hot Toys. I'm waiting for Black Friday or some sale to bring the price down a bit more.

@brianng8350 I'm thinking, maybe because the Transformers MDLX would involve tooling and painting and most of the cost would be tooling. I think the cloth outfits that need to be handmade drive the cost up for these 1/6 scale figures, and I don't really know how much more or less tooling is involved for either to compare them too closely. Plus any import or IP expenses.

So the reason why you couldn't find the hand written number on the box is that only the Web Exclusive edition is hand numbered (the box in that edition has a different sleeve that has a space for the nuber to be written on. If you read the side of the actual box carefully you will see that it lists all the options in each edition.) Re the coffin I can confirm that the figure does fit in it without having to turn it on its side, you just have to adjust it patienly, then the lid will cose.😊

@AirglamGuru Thanks, sometimes I'm recording and trying to get through everything quickly so the videos aren't absurdly long. This one still ended up being 40 minutes. I did look more closely at the list on the side of the box after the fact which was kinda funny. But I didn't know about the hand numbered web edition you mentioned.

As far as the cape goes you need to take the two strings drape them over the shoulders underneath the armpits and tie it around and back. This is the instructions from the manufacturer themselves and was also how the real cape in the movie was attached

They haven't done a Gillman but they have just released their Nosferatu figure and Christopher Lee Horror of Dracula figure along with Peter Cushing as Van Helsing. In addition to the upcoming Phantom of the Opera they have also announced Lon Chaney London after midnight with photos coming next month

The shawl thing is a faux fur stole. I am losing my mind waiting for Catty. I was pretty crazy about Venus, too, TBH! LOL. I'm afraid the Hissfits are going to be prohibitively expensive for me. Maybe I can justify it because I have no other Toraleis? Catty is a must have for me, though. I'm looking forward to restyling her... I have a Wild Hearts Crew leopard coat that she is going to look fabulous in!

LOL. I agree in that I do find the dolls to be much cuter and more detailed designs than the show versions. I also really love that Mattel varies the body types while maintaining the character's physiques. Which is why I really like the dolls but I'm still so far behind on the show.

You need to see the episode associated with this kit to understand why Count Fabulous is shifted into a cat familiar. He had to assume this shape and place his cat paw onto the front of the Monster Magic tome (to certify that he was her familiar) before midnight so that Draculaura could open it and use it.

I really like the outfit, especially the real underwear she can wear over her fake underwear. Unfortunately, those dolls aren’t for sale around here, so the only way to get them is through resellers at an inflated price.

I’m curious about the Clawdeen gore-ganizer you were talking about exclusive to Amazon. Have you seen it anywhere online? I love the Draculaura and Cleo ones and always hoped they’d have one for Clawdeen. Great video!

Unfortunately that would be the Cleo Beaty Kit I was talking about. Though it leaves myself curious what a Clawdeen version would look like now as well. Hopefully they'll continue to release more of those with the other characters including Clawdeen. Thanks for leaving a comment!
