Thanks for this video. Been looking for videos on how vloggers look like when they're vlogging for ages! I can't seem to get the proper search term. I want to start vlogging but I just wanted to see first how it will look like to others when walking with the camera.

Hi - flying over water would definitely be a mistake, as it will crash into the water for sure
@jannarkiewicz633Күн бұрын
I NEVER record to camera. I've only been doing videos for 6 months. My kit is the Rode Pro Wireless the same way you use the Hollyland Lark Max. My issue with the Rod Pro Wireless when I send audio the camera were drops. I'd be talking and 1 or 2 words would not make it from transmitter, to receiver to camera. I figured this had to do with being in an urban environment surrounded by 2.4 GHz interference. Good stuff as always.

I like your video, night photography can be very nice for travel. I like that with the OP3 i can setup 4 customs profiles and this is good as a started so I don't need to do all the setup at night, just some minor adjustment . Thank you.

Shouldn't you be using gimal for the crouching shots or are you using the gimbal to record yourself. Good stuff.... You did not mention setting to 60 FPS so you can do better slow mo but a pretty cool way to make dull interesting.
@4T-Tech18 сағат бұрын
Hi - I didn't want to use a gimbal to show what can be done with just a mobile handheld. Yes, 60fps would certainly help to make the shots smoother

Smashing ideas for what can be achieved in a real life situation. Though I have to say ,as a self confessed ' cloud addict 'not sure with those amazing formations that were above you, not sure I'd have called the location 'boring ' 😀 Thanks again 👍
@4T-Tech18 сағат бұрын
Hi, I guess I didn't look upwards too much! I think as we see those clouds in our dull grey English skies I didn't give them too much attention. The clouds are nice actually, just the beach is a rather featureless and dull!

thanks for the video. Could you also know to fix such a video in post. I am back from the location and only have the juddery video to use :(
@4T-Tech18 сағат бұрын
Hi - good question. I think it would actually be tricky to fix in post, if not shot in 50 or 60fps as it's still going to look choppy on a bigger screen unfortunately. Running the footage through stabilisation may help a bit.

Another suggestion is to set the shutter speed to multiple of the frame rate - so if your are in a region for 60Hz, try manually setting the shutter to 1/120 or 1/180 - and for 50Hz region set to 1/100 1/200. I found that was actually quite effective.

Could I use the joystick in unison with a flight mode like dolly track? So that if it was in an auto flight mode I was still able to move it out of the way of an obstacle if needed

I can manage to connect the gamepad in keyboard mode, I can even type gibberish text in other apps but inside the hover app, it show the game pad diagram (so it know it's connected and working) but the hover X1 don't move (it move in virtual key if I switch). And I can take picture/video with the select button so it's working, but it won't move.

The resolution on my device ( osmo pocket 3 creator ) has only 3k I think I must have done something or I bought a fake one. Any tips?
@4T-Tech2 күн бұрын
Hi - don't worry, the Pocket 3 will be in 3K if the screen is in vertical mode, that's normal. If you turn the screen to be horizontal, then 4K should become available

A good short video going through some of the basic settings " high-quality footage " However watching this KZfaq video on a larger screen this particular video is that a very poor quality recording . Which really goes against all the points you are making ..

Hi Tim, I had several issues like switching on by itself (GoPro 9), and I decide to install the LABS firmware on my GoPros 9, it solved almost 95% of the problem. May be you could give it a try on your models and see if it fixes the issues you mentionned, or at least, some of them. Thanks for the video.

@@4T-Tech Your video answered my questions. I use the selfie stick with the DJI Pocket 2 so I never use zoom/pan doohicky with the extra button. I have to record images of my Insta360 Flow Pro (the wife's doohicky) so I needed a front facing camera out of the DJI Pocket 2.

Tim, do you have to take you car battery out when you park it in the garage? :-) :-) :-) I did like your zoomed in venting rant. It is funny b/c I did a video on CapCut/mirroring which I showed mirror/zoom as a way add emphatic rants during a video. I've really noticed you are branching out and trying new video editing features in the last few posts. You are pushing me to raise my game too.
@4T-Tech7 күн бұрын
Hi - fortunately no, but if the car was made by GoPro then most definitely yes! Think of sharpness as dots per inch, commonly called DPI. You can turn a high sharpness video into a low or medium sharpness video in post-production, but you can't turn a low sharpness video into a medium or high sharpness video.

Would you be able to use this above a boat ? Not flying over water but directly above you ?
@4T-Tech9 күн бұрын
Hi - yes in theory you could as long as you were very careful that it doesn't go over the side of the boat as the water will cause the altitude sensor to get confused and it'll probably take a little drink. I would stay in manual mode and manually fly so that it always stays directly over the boat
