Many monitors don't support 120hz on hdmi so this is how you get such signal from PS5 for example

your xbox comes with hdmi port instead of dp port. So you need such H21DP14 to connect your xbox to a monitor with DP port

@@elypox5624 I'm thinking it won't support it. I never got it to work but some things don't work for that somehow. We eventually have it to a friend but yeah I'm not totally sure if it would work. Maybe it's a setting on the Xbox I'm not sure. I'm sorry. But maybe we are doing something wrong idk lol

It's the cable, most of the cables in the market are display to hdmi not hdmi to display and it doesn't work both ways

what do you mean DP 1.2? it is a bypass cable, i just bypasses the hdmi signal to displayport signal. if the HDMI port from your pC supports 2K resolutions, and your Display with DP port is capable of doing so, it works

PS5 can either output 1920X1080 or 3840X2160 resolutions.. those resolutions called standard HDTV resolutions.. it can not output 2k resolutions..

@@legrandkouam7845 you can not get 1440P over your PS5.. PS5 can only output 1920X1080 and 3840X2160.. it can not put a PC resolutions as xbox series X/s, i mean 1440p
