I use sucker meat and leave the skin on as it is so friggen tough you will never lose your bait. I can catch our jumbo perch here on lakes north of Superior all day and hardly ever have to change it.

I know this is old video but I have a question on the "wingers". Do you need to increase the size of the downrigger ball to use these? what size ball would be adequate to fish just spoons as deep as 100 feet down? and is it safe to fish wire divers still with these out but fishing higher with the dipsys? thanks hopefully u get this. super deadly info on here thanks again

What does a number 4 or nunber 7 water gremlin split shot weigh? You always referance them by nunber but i cant even find those nunbers anywhere and ive always kept track of my weights by their actual weight. Also are they tin or lead? Im not sure but i would assume a #7 tin weighs less than a #7 lead. Appreciate any info you can give me.

Love the content Bill! I will be heading out this weekend, Hilton, Hamlin area for lakers. Being that there is not a ton of structure out there. Where would you suggest starting for getting lines wet in terms of feet of water. I plan on using Magnum dipseys with flashers and spin glows. Does this sound like it could be productive to you this time of year for lakers? Thanks!!
@BillSaiffOutdoors3 ай бұрын
I would start looking in 30-40 feet of water. Last week we had the Lakers in 45-51ft. and we were catching them 35-38 ft down.

Thanks Bill! Am I able to buy some flashers and flies you recommend directly from you? I noticed in your videos you said something about being able to purchase some of your recommended tackle.@@BillSaiffOutdoors

Great video Bill! Which specific model Okuma Dead Eye rod do you run on your boat? Also, in previous videos you've mentioned the 8'6" Blue Diamond rod for riggers. Is that the medium or medium/heavy? Thanks!
