The big question I have is, can I use it along with the existing Sony speakers on the TV? So, my wife can listen to it quietly, but I can crank it up louder on my shoulders? Or does the connection turn off the Sony TV speakers? And if it does keep the Sony TV speakers on, will the sound be sinked with the neckband speaker?

Normally you have to use the optical out but not with tv speakers at the same time

Of course you can ! However, you don't get the xbox button to power it on. Also for people that have monitors instead of TV's, it'll work great for them.

I own the remote and you have to hard press the buttons for it to work with a direct site line to the Xbox honestly it feels like it might break. I don't know if this is because I have the series x or what.

I own this remote and can confirm outside of the the official PS3 Blu-Ray remote this PDP Remote is hands down one of the best I have ever used on any console and the back light buttons just make it even better.

No it’s a remote to use instead of your controller

Xbox, and PS5 for that matter, don't really improve image quality while streaming as it all comes down to what your TV or monitor is able to output. The slight disadvantages of using an Xbox or PS5 to stream over using a smart TV with streaming apps is that it takes up more energy (you'll notice it in your energy bill) and they may potentially cause a slight lag/delay

I noticed when paired to my Bravia, having 3d surround enabled during gaming there’s a delay that causes the controller/ or tv to not be as responsive(some kind of lag/delay). I’m not sure why- you should def check out what I’m saying.

@@gosman949I don’t have speakers on my tv (just the speakers of the tv). I will say, when turning off the 3d surround on the neckband - you can and will, still get sound from the tv and the neckband, and both can be controlled separately as two sources. But for the amount of money you will spend on the NS7, I would say get the new Bravia U, the updated neck speaker from Sony. It cost exactly the same and has new neat features like dual connectivity, so that might be what you need!

you won't experience atmos if you paired it on any apple products. it will only work on android and sony tvs.

That's correct.. Sony's SRS-NS7 wireless neckband speaker is the first to support Dolby Atmos, a surround-sound technology that creates an immersive dome of sound with overhead channels. The speaker can stream Dolby Atmos tracks from a connected Sony Bravia XR TV when paired with a wireless transmitter. It can also stream Sony 360 Reality Audio tracks from Deezer and Tidal from a smartphone
