So much more real than todays bands that try to emulate what is considered punk now.

Apart from a fantastic voice Elkie has great taste in clothing. Pretty sure she's wearing "Let it Rock" here, Malcolm McLaren and Vivienne Westwood's shop on the Kings Road in the early '70. The clothes were handmade by Vivienne at the time.

I grew up in Liverpool and lucky enough to be a teenager in the sixties. I can not put it all into words only to say been there done that and have all the memories of the music, the Iron door the Cavern plus the Blue Angel club. Oh! I did have a crush in the Cavern cloak room girl Pricilla White you may know her as Cilla Black.

Billy is one of the funniest Humans to have existed. Pamela Stephenson was funny, in her early years in Not the Nine O'clock News.. She became his Wife and Hope. Pamela helped him through his troubles, until she couldn't. Two amazing, beautiful People.

Monkhouse was a truly brilliant and riotously funny live performer imho. Shame that all those awful game shows are also part of his legacy.
