God, please give this amazing game a remake so we can get a rendition of this gorgeous scene and incredible love story.

Every time I play this game this scene always makes me bawl like a baby. The puzzle is annoying but it’s so worth it for this beautiful scene.

you hate the Missile Base, its one of my favorite places for the music, and the plot. While its not a nuclear missle base, it does seem like its setup to launch long range cruise missles, which in FF8 seem to be kinda like Cruise Missile Drones.

I still had Rinoa LV 99 ALL others LV 100 on disc 1 so don't fight them WITHOUT the Lionheart limit and at least 30 Meltdown spells.

This particular "FF" felt like a fairytale. It's beautiful. Squall is very different from the other "FF" protagonists, even Cloud. Actually cold. It may have began as a protection mechanism, but it became what he really was through out the years. And I don't think he ever quite copes with the world, not truly. Because he's actually satisfied with what he experienced so far. He kinda reminds me of Shinji from "Evangelion".

On my run, each Tonberry has about 18000 Hp, and I can kill them buy using Diablo two times, it takes 9999 damages each time.

My GOSH, man, this scene had me as a broken down wreck, hahaha. This was the scene that cemented my love for this game's story. The gameplay may be shotty, but that didn't mean a thing to me because of these characters.

You know where I got stuck? At the very start where you insert an ID. Just couldn't trigger that or something. There wasn't any internet so I took a trip to the mall (which was far away) to look up what I needed to do in a strategy guide at a game store.

this was one of my favourite parts of the game, cool playthrough i enjoyed it

I think they did a really good job of portraying the powerless Squall feels when having to give up Rinoa. He literally just said he doesn't want to attach to her because she'll disappear and then has to choose to let her disappear. Most games I think struggle with having really powerful protanganists that then have no challenging conflicts due to being the Dragonborn or whatever. Here you can tell that even if Squall could fight his way out of the situation, it'd be pointless since all nations would hate them anyway and Rinoa would probably just get possessed. So he acts paralyzed because it actually seems like the only option is to let Estar imprison her and I think that is showcased when he asked himself, "There's nothing I can do, right?" Instead of, "Isn't there anything that I can do?" Almost like he's trying to convince himself he has no option but let this unfold as he stands still.
