Thanks for this and I hope young women are interested in historical context of this path. I've read most of those you mentioned (as a bibliophile, I have an extensive library amassed since my epiphany in the 1990s when I was in my early 30s). One of my earliest touchstones was and still is the work of Marija Gimbutas; the archaeological work she did on Neolithic Old Europe Goddesses was inspirational. You mentioned her and I adore Marion Weinstein's "Positive Magic" and especially her "Words of Power" section/material that have been fabulous for me. I read very little of the 'new' stuff on the path; not only do I feel nourished by the practice I've created for myself over the years, tweaking it as I go along based upon my experiences and messages from The Unseen, but most of the modern era material simply doesn't resonate with this Crone (and a lot of it feels either 'mushy' or 'fluffy'). Discernment is SO important and I'm always pleased when you mention that. Blessings!

Thanks so much for the addition to the books! And it's hard to explain to younger seekers that I'm not constantly devouring books at this point since I have a well established practice and connections with spirit that are ongoing. I resonate with the "mushy" and "fluffy". I take my path seriously. It's not a lifestyle choice, it's just a way of life.

@@siofrasmagicalcove7293 Agree with you that it's a way of life for me, as well. I do continue to read tons of books but a lot of it is older ... simply because I love learning. Like, I'm reading Agrippa, and Blavatsky's Secret Doctrine, Paracelsus, the Kybalion, not in any hurry, just curious how bits might add to my current practice as well as to my writing. Blessings!

Can you please tell me about egg cleanse is it real if so what does it do ???
@siofrasmagicalcove7293
@siofrasmagicalcove7293 20 сағат бұрын
I have read about egg cleanses. It's a different tradition than what I do so I don't have any practical experience with it though I have often thought of doing one at various times. The theory is that whatever it is that's inside of a person (disease, bad energy, attachments) will be sucked out and into the egg. You're suppose to rub the egg over the skin all over and I think it usually takes about a dozen eggs to do it effectively. Like much when it comes to magic it depends on your skill, focus, concentration and experience. I don't think doing one can possibly do any harm, unless an individual becomes obsessed with the results and their brain spins out.

Another wonderful video, thank you for all your valuable insight. I would love to know if any of your research has dipped into the native american medicine wheel teachings, and how that relates to Indian, Western and other magic / esoteric fields you are familiar with - It seems all these practices point to the same truth about the purification process... but with different flavours and metaphors... It seems there are a few tests and traps we encounter as the self-policing nature of this work guards against things happening without proper development... it doesn't allow anyone to fast-track the process, or skip valuable life-lessons... In native american work this 'coyote medicine' resonated with my experience, when I cam across it in Jamie Sams book 'Dancing the dream' - do you have any examples of these traps when ego has not been genuiniely surrendered, and further tests and learnings are required ?

I'm in life now where nothing really comes as to what to do what to inspire towards. Goals and achievements don't resonate, so I live present in the moment but it's a simple life with no progression. One thing I can think of is having children to continue lineage but that also doesn't really push me at the moment. Any advice? What should I find in life.

@siofrasmagicalcove7293 9 күн бұрын
Simple joy and being aware of the life that surrounds us all the time. You're already doing it. Being goal oriented is not a requirement for growth or existence. In fact, often people who are too goal oriented miss out on having a life. Existence is organic and has natural movement, some of which we are aware and some of which is so subtle we may not notice it except in retrospect.

Yes!!! A really great video!!! and wow, what an important point you made towards the end (which really solidified things): “Self-determination means trusting your instincts and intuition. We have good intuition. We can use that to figure out the difference between a ‘working edge of discomfort’ because we’re suddenly going into a place in our own minds perhaps, or in our life’s experience, that is going to have some sort of uncomfortable revelations we’re going to have to face (versus) someone putting the idea into our minds to do something we don’t like in order to ‘evolve’ - those are two separate things… “ In my recollection, no one else has ever made this distinction. Also, the dream you had about trying many many different ways to “get through the mountain” without having to go through traps and difficulties was an important reality check. This is just how things are in this physical experience here on planet earth. Wow!

I have several stones but I have no idea how to arrange them at home or how to arrange an altar so that the stones do not... fight each other. These are: scolecite, labradorite, larvikite, flint, green obsidian, black tourmaline, amethyst chevron and one small Herkimer Is there something missing in this set?or something is wrong?
@siofrasmagicalcove7293
@siofrasmagicalcove7293 13 күн бұрын
I go by feel. Place crystals in any arrangement and then see if it feels compatible and right. It is a skill that can be acquired. I don't have any problem with any of my crystals "not getting along" but some are stronger depending on where they are in relationship to other crystals. My wands all have crystals on them that are tuned to the specific energies that the wand is meant to work with and sometimes I can use my wands to create specific effects (like in my video Crystal Engines kzfaq.info/get/bejne/h62DjZSalc7IlZ8.html) and I talk about crystals in Working With Crystals And Stones kzfaq.info/get/bejne/jsB-oKthtq_Of58.html. Tobacco is a species native to North America, maybe that’s why spirits of that area supposedly find it pleasant. But how about other places? In Tibet tobacco is harmfull for spirits and people how about this? What smoke we should offer for spirits in Europe?Who have right?
@siofrasmagicalcove7293
@siofrasmagicalcove7293 14 күн бұрын
You work with what is traditional to the deity in question and the area wherein you reside. I don't use tobacco and neither does my husband. The spirits said that since tobacco had no meaning for us that it would be better for us to use something else, like the sage I grow in my own garden (which we now use). Every culture is going to have different plants that are sacred to them and harmful. Be mindful of the energy of the plant you are offering and if it's a protected species choose something different...or grow it yourself.

@kukumuniu5658 14 күн бұрын
Tobacco doesn't matter to me in the sense that I'm not a smoker, but :) I chose expensive cigars of the highest quality,paid for them with my hard-earned money :D I hope that counts?(even if tobacco itself is not important to me in everyday life) Another issue is that I am not associated with any tradition, no one initiated me into any community My attitude towards other forms of life is such that I can even be a friend of the "devil" if the devil does not want to be my enemy :) I treat everyone equally, without favoring or discriminating anyone The rules of any tradition do not prohibit me from doing so because I do not belong to any group... or maybe that's the problem?

A few days ago, my grandmother visited her husband's grave Someone put twigs on the grave, she didn't like them very much, so she took them home to throw them away (she could have done it right away but for some reason she took them home) In the evening, she was woken up by voices coming from the kitchen. where she left the twigs she took she went to check who it was and she heard voices coming from the branches!! The discussion was strange and incomprehensible, like two quarreling squirrels :D from a Disney cartoon she threw the twigs out the window and the discussion ended I wonder what it could have been? The spirits of dead people would speak an understandable language and if grandma had something wrong with her head and the voices were only in her head, they wouldn't stop after throwing the twigs out the window

How does amulets works ?
@siofrasmagicalcove7293
@siofrasmagicalcove7293 17 күн бұрын
Amulets are an item that you make programmed with the job you want it to do and charged with the energy to do the work you've assigned to it. They can be about almost anything. Generally they are small and portable and can be worn or put in a pocket or they can be left on an altar to work on the project. I have a stone that Ian charged up to block all influences from me which I keep in a silk pouch and only take out of the pouch when I need it to do it's job (like when I am feeling weak when I am sick). Like everything else the effectiveness depends on your understanding of the process and your skill/ability to pull it off (in this case create and charge it). These things don't work by reproducing the likeness of the image you want. You have to develop relationships with the energies and spirit beings (if they are involved) and have a good rapport with the universe to have the best effect. They also are not fool proof and will not override the greater good.

Hello, Im 15 and Ive been practicing Astral projection. I have recently descoverd What an Astral Temple is and started trying to learn how to create one, but In most of the vidoes and pages Ive seen they talk about rutuals to satan and the black sun, things like demons to learn from and stuff. So I'm asking if Astral Temples are safe and are not in realtion to any dark or black magic. Im looking for a safe sanctuary to learn and study magic, I certainly dont want to get envloved with evil so I just want to make sure what Im getting in to.
@siofrasmagicalcove7293
@siofrasmagicalcove7293 20 күн бұрын
Your personal astral temple is whatever you make of it and should be a safe space for you to learn from. I don't know who those people are that are talking about rituals to satan, demons and what-not (maybe they're satanists?) but building an astral temple is a private thing and represents your inner self. Since you've watched (I am assuming) this video on how to build one and what mine looks like for me I would hope that it would answer those particular questions. Your magical path is built upon the choices that you make and the things you choose to focus on. Not working with demons is, in my opinion, an excellent choice. We also have some videos on that subject you might want to watch. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/h7qVmpN4ps2RhXU.html

When I was meditating, I saw green hands holding a crystal ball. After that, I became interested in incorporating a crystal ball into my spiritual practice. I have noticed that my abilities have improved as I have been able to see things clearly on two occasions. Usually, I see trees, but I also see things like animals or faces on walls and carpets. I don't quite understand what this means.

Seeing human or animal shapes in inanimate objects is often pareidolia which can be interesting or crazy making depending on how much you focus on it. Remember that our perceptions of reality around us is colored by our assumptions, our life experiences, our belief systems and more. Discernment is a necessary skill to acquire. Experience will help you to start to differentiate between levels of importance.

Learning to identify where thoughts are originating from has been such a crucial and difficult lesson for me. When I was trying to suppress and ignore my abilities I ended up taking on destructive thoughts forms from my clients. I became extremely depressed with no idea why. Once I was able to understand what was happening and release the thoughts forms that were not mine I felt instantly better. With practice it’s become instinctive identifying the source of thoughts I experience. Thank you so much for your openness about your experiences and your videos. Thank you. I want to share a little story with you. I saw a beautiful being in the woods one night when me and my friend were walking our dogs. There was a full moon out and we had to get out of the woods before it got too dark. The being was big. It stood about 40ft tall. It was dark and light green, it was also glowing. It had white, light green, and dark green locs that went down its back. It was checking me out. I caught it from the corner of my eye and looked. Its energy was peaceful, it was just curious. I never saw a being that big before so I cussed lol. It ran from one tree to the next then it was gone. I played it off because I didnt feel my friend would understand what happend. I learned that day I was leveling up. I have had many spiritual experiences so it didn't surprise me too much. I believe it was a nature spirit.
