Love the track only thing that takes me out of it is 'smitten' which basically means in love, the correct past term of smite would be smote, so maybe smotten/smotted dragons, but certainly not dragon corpses who are in love haha

Another good one! I'd like to add I think this would go very well as a tavern-style or folk song in addition to this epic version

Hi, greetings from germany, I really enjoy your music, especially this song. I have done my best to translate this song into german, by meaning and rythm. I had to change some words in order to make it work.

I know this song is about the Dwarves and that's awesome, but this song also calls to my mind images of all the achievements humanity has accomplished, all the beautiful palaces, cathedrals and cities we have built over the centuries. Always striving for greatness, for beauty, for civilization and purpose. This song really encapsulates humanity's building spirit.

When I read the Lord of the rings as a teenager ( yes, I read it before I watched the movies) this song is the most memorable part, and I even made up my own tune, but I must admit this is superior. My version was too fast and upbeat.

I watched it like dozen times already and yet I failed to keep my composure, cry every time. Sometimes even at mere memory of that song. Tolkien made poem to last for ages and Clamavi Di Profundis made sure we will hear it in the best adaptation possible

I know it sounds silly, but I wish Mr. Tolkien had lived to see how far his creations had come in this modern day.
