When I first installed it in Jan/21 - it installed with no issues at all - as long as I installed by Origin. I would then use EA and Origin (not at same time but would go back to origin when building with limited packs) THAT WAS THEN... Now, a few days ago I returned to windows 10 after being on Windows 11 for almost a year. The dreaded Error 16 of Sims 3 was causing issues and I found it it was Windows 11's latest update. I installed EA and only tried to install Sims 3 and Sims 4 on it. Sims 3's expansions and Stuff packs were all gone. Sims 4 only installed base plus 4 packs (I own every pack) and I thought... EA made Sims, EA made the app... therefore the app is glitchy. I went back to Origin, it repaired and installed the Sims 4 packs BUT no Sims 3 DLC was found. They are looking into it and told me that MANY players are experiencing the same issue. I told them GREAT, then I know where to begin in a class-action suit. Moral to the story... EA DESKTOP SUCKS and we are the ones to suffer for it.

no, if Origin loads, EA Desktop App will work (It is the same company with a new re-brand) and its tech is newer. Runs a bit faster.

Hi, ok... The EA app is Origin - so your games will show up there. If installed by Origin, EA will still use the same folder. HOWEVER, your PLAYED HOURS are not on EA Desktop - you will begin at 0 - I have no news if EA Desktop will import the origin played hours yet. I was told by EA HELP to keep Origin installed until EAD is officially launched.

Agreed! Mac OS users need to go through the same crap as PC users... LOL - While it's in beta, many issues are still happening, Sims 4 is not fully on EA Beta yet - I still have to install via Origin. I only play and test on EA.

That is... errr. I had a similar thing. Try rebuilding your Sims 4 document folder. COPY tray mod and saves... pics too if you have. Then delete the folder. When you load the game. Check lot and board. Do not expect the community board to be in build buy but it should fix your current lot issue. Then do options fix mods etc and return your save back to the Sims 4 folder.

Yes, I ended up going to a Community Lot and putting some walls up around the available Community Board and saving it to my gallery. But EA, should be fixing it before making more PACKS-KITS that also are broken.

I still can't find it, BUT I learned that you can go to an original ECO community lot, build a room around the community board and save it to your Gallery.

I would normally agree with that, as I love mods. but this is a fresh install when it first didn't work after the update, I've repaired and then reinstalled (No mods) and still it's missing. Though the mods are back in now, but it is still missing. I can only change already made community lots and not make any new ones. Also a HUGE thank you for responding.

I like the CG version of Anakin (The Clone Wars) He's less whiny. Plus the GC reminds me of Sims. I've had Batuu since it came out but have not released the video yet, I will release on the 26th, once "The First Noël" is completed. I also have "Carry On Sims," "You Can't Do That in The Sims," and "Are You Being Simmed?" waiting to be edited. Plus the new 100 Baby Challenge or 1000 Woohoo Challenge as I like to call it needs to be completed, now that I found the save files. So, lots of content coming.

Also the nicknames are based on a real couple named Sky and Anna who met at Comic Con. I've known Sky and called him Sky Walker since the met him but I was not the first to call him that. That would be his dad. Mr. Walker.

They are, aren't they... but this adventure had an issue with going from the house to a invite... I didn't save and as it was loading - the plumbob kept spinning (loading screen) for 5 minutes and I gave up. Had nothing to do with the CC, it has been like this since the update.

@@EmmaSimsxxx what's worst than that is the "presents" need a mesh from bellasims and my computer refuses to go to the bellasims' download page. On a good note, I still had the family and some of the things saved... apparently I was smart enough to press save, once. I've played a bit today offline. It looks very "Santa threw up everywhere" kinda Christmas now.

is it "Ooof, we exploded? Restart App"? I have been getting that as well on a new install of windows and reinstall of EA but I love Desktop ICONS and opted to redownload through Origin.

I uninstalled it and forgot to reinstall the app to see if it would work. I'll do that right now.

it is a great show. I've always loved Nurse Ratched from the original movie (One Flew over the Cuckoo's Nest) - but this one is WILD.... My Ratched has a story as well, she was just inserted into the game and now works at the Hospital.... She'll be seen in my 1000 Woohoo Challenge... err... 100 baby challenge.
