I think it makes more sense to film in the desert. There’s a long runway at Spaceport America where many car commercials have already been filmed.

Oh and also the car isn’t even in the ad it’s a shell car and they CGI the actual car on in post. Nothing is real have a nice day.

I think people also intrinsically don’t like car filled streets so like any commercial they hide the downsides. Like smoking commercials (when they were around) not showing lung cancer.

interesting...then i think we could make a groundbreaking commercial. A car ad without the car ever shown... the idea sprang from the desire not to give free advertising by showing the competitions car in the background. Picking ugly cars to make your car look better isn't enough if they still get their logo into your commercial. But, What if all you saw were ugly cars, (perhaps use fake logo's to avoid a lawsuit) and after a car commercial with nothing but crappy cars you have a black screen that says something like "It's Not Living without Porsche"

Filming random people in public does not raise any legal issues

There is no expectation of privacy in public. No consent needed. Anything you can see from a public space can be filmed including into private businesses.

I think it's great advice, I myself get caught up trying to do to many things, and what happens is I end up all over the place, never finishing 1 thing in full. Focus on 1 thing at a time, finish it, then move on, but not till it's done. Good advice bro
