Commuting by bike isn't necessarily faster than by car but as commuting by car you get say 30 minutes of boredom, on a bike you get 1 hour of joy ^_^ I love rock straps, I started using them recently on my motorbike. Superhelpful when riding two up with my girlfriend and she brings so much stuff that it can't fit into the top case ^_^

Very cool setup and lively and informative presentation style. Like the way you customized your bike, coordinating your gear so it’s aesthetically pleasing and functional. What size rok straps do you have? Been using bungees cords. Would like to try the straps. Must admit the drop handle bars seem to make it look like the cyclist knows what he or she is doing, but I am a hybrid bicyclist who prefers a more upright riding position. My cockpit is crazy busy. I always ride with my action camera mounted there, have an electronic remote controlled motion sensor/horn anti theft device, a small but pleasantly loud bell, a bike computer, headlight, left and right rear view mirrors and believe it or not an air horn attached to the head tube. Everything is color coordinated-navy blue and black are the dominant colors. Have a black rear rack, expandable panniers, a tail light, U-lock with cable, and some basic tools I carry in the top compartment of my “saddle bags.” Also have a detachable mud guard attached to the down tube. Oh yes, I always carry an electric bike pump. I use my mirrors, computer, and U-lock regularly and inflate my tires before leaving the house. Whew! The other stuff I rarely use but I like having all of it with me just in case. Bike is pretty heavy but I can keep up with other hybrid bike riders. Not into speed anyway. Just like having fun-like you. Really appreciated your approach to urban cycling. Thanks for sharing! One more thing I like how your rear wheel requires a special tool to remove the wheel and how you lock the front wheel and frame!

@@GadgetsGearCoffee James hoffmann has a video The biginers guide to coffee maintenance. Go to 12:40 and watch that. I am sending my dual boiler back to Breville because its brocken and its still on warranty. Because this is the second time it happens to me I belive I got a lemon. I will try for them to send me a new machine. When I get back my machine I will tell you what amount of water comes out of the group head as James suggest doing. You can then take the value from my machine which should be like new as it will be coming back from Breville. You can then test your machine and see how much water restrain you will have. You can then determine if you should keep or sell your machine. If you only use Breville filters they do not do anything to remove Calcium from the water, Depending on where you live the calcium in water can be through the roof. Not descaling a machine is taking a huge risk as well. Ideally you want to use Distilled or RO water and then add good minerals like in the brand Perfect Coffee water. Using these types of minerals assures you that you will never have to descale the machine becasuse there is no calcium to heat up and get scale deposits which then need to be cleaned out by descaling. I will get back to you on this one.

I was about to buy this scale, but man, this 2 minutes auto shut off completely turned me off. How on earth this "feature" could be helpful in ANY way? The IMS shower curtain is a good buy because it replaces that plastic piece behind the original shower curtain into a nice stainless steel and the water distribution is consistent. I have a VST basket and when I compared it to the stock I didn't find a big difference in extractions but I do like the VST because its 20 grams instead of 18 As far as the dual boiler, I have it for 2 years, I do 2 shots a day and I have repaired it twice. Its a lemon and I don't suggest anyone buying them because they are just made really cheap. If you look at all the Amazon reviews from people who have them for more then a year its always the same issues, boilers start to leak and the boiler that goes to the group head is shared by the hot water valve and that is a nightmare as well as it stops working altogether. The biggest problem with Breville don't have repair centers across Canada so you have to ship the machine, and when the warranty runs out its 350 dollars to repair plus shipping which is not cheap. The biggest joke is that they do not sell their parts to repair centers which doesn't make sense since they don't have repair centers across Canada and you have to pay shipping when its out of warranty. Breville use to be a good brand until they started making them in China. I know people that have their Breville pre Chinese machine for over 10 years and never had a problem. I am not impressed with Breville at all, just the price is right when I bought it I paid 1400 CDN as you did and if you try to buy a similar machine which there are not that many that can do what it can its pretty much 2 to 3 times the price. And I am not talking about machines that you have to drop a ton of money to change PID and mod them so that the pressure is right. The old saying, you get what you pay for is for Breville. They should make 2 versions one with crap parts as they do now and one with high end parts and no plastic and charge accordingly. Aluminum boilers are garbage but I didn't know that when I bought it. I strongly suggest since you have had no problem and I hope you have the original box. sell it and run before the nightmares start.

But for now, I have my new backpack already. I will definitely keep Alpaka on my list of backpacks to check if I still want another size in the future. If I had found this video before, I would potentially now own the metro... I was about to buy the Able Carry 13 in X-Pac a few weeks ago, to have a small day pack. I just wanted something small if ever i go to office (also work remotely) or if I go just somewhere else and need just some basics for me or the dog (water, some food etc). ~13 Liter just felt right for that. Also I wanted it small because it looks silly to bring a big backpack for those few things, and you always look like traveling ;) Able Carry is difficult to get in Europe. There is a shop that asks 209€ (~230USD) for it. Furthermore, the 13l was quite the lower limit (like you said, headset maybe small BT keyboard and food, and it is hitting the limit hard already) so I saw they also have the able carry daily 20 Liter for 160€ (~175 USD) but no x-pac After some research, I found the Wexley Stem 17L which is between the Able carry 20L and the 13L, it was made of x-pax x42 AND was available in France for 130 USD. People go crazy because they call it a clone, but I like it, the quality is nice. It checked all boxes and if comfortably fits everything I need for office. Still a liiiiitle bit too big for the daily basics, but for now, I am good. BTW when following your link: the Elements Tech Brief Pro looks ALMOST perfect (as you said, there is no "perfect bag") for my needs if it's just for the office (just no space for a water bottle?)
