Station Master just keeps getting better n' better Stu. Well done & keep up the good work, we are sure it's very much appreciated by all.

Hi Stu, am I missing something, can you add a start and finish times to contacts?. This can be important to me for some awards I take part in Rag Chewing on CW this is to prove the contact went on for x amount of time. Thanks for all your efforts
@G5STU4 күн бұрын
Ok, I'll get that added very soon. Thanks

Using SM2 now and it is working great! Using an FtDx10. Had some problems with the desktop app today connecting to the cloud, but that turned out to be a network problem… some minor things and I will post that to the Discord. You are doing a great job🎉

hello, what Log software are you using: LOG4OM ?

Hi Stu, thanks for hard work with the logbook. Can I suggest a live question and answers session. Its a great logbook platform you have made. I am sure others would have questions to ask. I am very near clicking on the upgrade but there is one thing I dont understand or dont like compared with HRD. I use the dx cluster a lot to find cw dx and Pota and Sota station. I have the BBS setup with filters so I only see hf cw station ON HRD. I am not getting these on your dxc telnet. I am sure it may do or you could make it do, but a question and answer setion I think would be good. Steve G4YTK
@G5STU24 күн бұрын
Yeh good idea, I'll look into the cluster issue for you. Thanks
@SteveG4YTK24 күн бұрын
@@G5STU Think I have sorted the cluster issue. I had the default BBS setup and the registered bbs I am setup with, Now I have just the registered BBS I use. I do have another question?. Is there away I can just export selected contacts instead of the complete adf file. (Ie Just to load toadys' contacts ) If that makes sense.

G5RV or ZS6BKW antennas are not Doublet antenna systems. A true Doublet from any old ARRL antenna handbook is achieved by using a 300ohm, 450ohm ladder line or preferably 600ohm balance line directly terminated to the back of an L or T network type balanced tuner/matchbox, then cutting the antenna legs length to the lowest band of operation. No COAX at all for minimum losses which gives maximum efficiency. A G5RV or ZS6BKW must have at least 50-plus feet of coax to counterbalance the antenna, tuner, and radio.

Interesting. I am plagued by a loud and constant near locality interference across 26, 27 and some parts of 28 mhz that drives me crazy. Other local hams have suggested in may be a fauly earth on a phase of a local substation but whatever a mile away it disappears so it is definitely local. I have just ordered a cheapo AliExpress sdr to help me narrow the location. Wish me luck. M7BLC.

How did you fix the 1, 35 metre steel whip at the top? How deep inside? There is no mention in the manual of what to do...maybe for SWR adjustment how?
@G5STUАй бұрын
Just slide in and tighten the screw , it's not adjustable , contrary to what others say. But you can cut it

I have heard of mmsstv, but for me, I use pocket rxtx, and black cat systems SSTV decoder and encoder for capturing SSTV images from the HF bands. I think it’s easier to do it than way rather than to use the computer.
