@@MumandDadto10 I really hope il catch it next time- even living alone,it’s nearly as much of a bill oftentimes because you can’t get many individual things- I’m not a big fan of microwave food,I rather home cooked food, it’s difficult. @uglenddalejones2 You are doing so well. It will be much better for you in the long run. I should really give up my evening snacking. That's where we spend a lot of our money on grocery is our treats, as a family. The sugar in tea/ coffee all adds up, but we barely notice it because we are just used to having it Xx

@@MumandDadto10 yes,the changes in sugar in tea is in my mind permanent- I used sweetener all my life until the last five years,so I can do it again. You are right. We all know,after food we grab something sweet to Finish Off# is - and for me, was always just an occasional one but it turned into every evening. I’m trying to cut down on other foods that I have quite literally been addicted- I can’t give them up but I can change them,like bread- my all time favourite is my local bread and every mouth is top tier for me lol. Pasties and sausage rolls again,from local bakery is several steps up from Greggs and was a daily addition as well- so I’ve switched and ditched the bread for danish bread ,not gone for pasties but I’ve found a new favourite- quorn sausage rolls. Not happy about the price but it works out a couple quid cheaper than the local pasties and they’re fairly acceptable,fat and calories wise…. Small but significant changes xxx

@@MumandDadto10 your welcome lovely. You did amazing giving them a holiday and then another holiday on top. Also you and Mark worked so hard to entertain all the children with different ages. I haven’t been to Butlins in years, and the twice I went we were self catering so it was great to see what their food options were. Also to see and what entertainment options there was. I remember going when I was a child and there being the red coats as entertainment, but showing my age as I am 42 now and a mum to a 17 year old daughter 😀 xxx

We don't need to be millionaires to have a lot of children. We just prioritise our children's needs and wants over our own. We spend our money on what matters and make savings where we can. As for the government paying for it. There has been a 2 child limit since 2017, so I guess that can answer your question. X 😀

I agree the accommodation is run down and needs a refurbishment. The food you can tell is mass produced, but everyone still found something they liked. We only paid just over £80 pp for mon-fri. So I don't think that is expensive. We spend that going to the circus alone, and then the fair is a lot more than that for us normally. So I think it worked out very reasonable considering how much the kids got to do. We went to fantasy Island on the Monday and spent over 250 there alone, and that was with only half the kids having a wristband x

​@@MumandDadto10 kids don't see things like that they just love the whole experience of a holiday.I think having a big family like yours you did a wonderful job the children looked so happy and content it was a pleasure to watch.

@lynnedavies5884 That is very true. They hardly spent any time in the accommodation, as they were too busy with the activities. They had such a good time, so we are happy xx

Yes. I completely agree. I get that places can be tired when they have a lot of people passing through, but they should be clean. I don't mind rundown decor, but having to clean when you pay for a holiday isn't how it should be xx

That's it. The kids had a great time, and they don't notice this sort of thing. They just enjoyed all the activities they got to do and being at the seaside xx

@@MumandDadto10 totally…this is how I didn’t have a problem with pontins. The food was fine there was something for everyone,breakfast was best and the amenities and location and entertainment was great. And cheap- it’s a clear winner. Xxx Natalie…I just made a community post- shocking eh. Lol

It was so much fun. The children absolutely loved it, and it is really made with kids in mind. For the price, it includes a lot we would have to pay extra for at other sites xx

We mainly stayed on site, but we did go to Haven for the weekend there. Then, Fantasy Island on the Monday before we left. xx
