It all makes perfect sense in the realm of spirituality, as opposed to humanity. Most humanists would not forget their maternal mother. They are devoted to the earth and the things of the earth. Jesus also said: "Who is my mother but one who seeks God?" "Seek ye first the Kingdom of God..." "If you sow to the earth, you reap corruption. If you sow to the Spirit, you reap Life, Everlasting." And, in this story, I come to realize the difference between the perfect student and the non-perfect student. I for one, would be duty-bound to pray for y mother's needs, mixing humanity with spirituality. (praying for humanity) Vivekananda, the perfect student, having perfect "vairagya," saw past the material and contemplated The Infinite. By not praying for his mother's temporal, illusionary mayic form, he also elevated her to the level of Eternal Mother, birthless and deathess. This is a very important story and Sadhguru, like always, can really tell a story with inflection and really can deliver the punch line and meaning. He is a gifted story-teller and comedian. He pauses perfectly and the same story told by another, often does not deliver such a spiritual punch.

I wonder every society like - - ISKON, SADGURU.. everyone talked about Thakur RAMAKRISHNA AND TRY TO DISPROVE OR CRITICISM THAKUR'S GODLINESS BUT I NEVER FOUND ANY MONKS OF RAMAKRISHNA ORDER SPEAK ANY WORDS ABOUT OTHER ORGANIZATIONS. ALTHOUGH in the RAMAKRISHNA ORDER I FOUND MOST EDUCATED MONKS, some of them are Sw. Kripakarananda, Sw. Sarvapriyananda, mathematician Mohan Mj and many more. Words and works are same - such as example is RAMAKRISHNA ORDER.
