Nick Bockwinkel was someone who was REAL. He never said anything that made the business a farce.

Fun stuff. Wish there were commercials. I used to go to the Cow Palace with my dad, brother, and neighbors in early 1970s to watch this.

At the 2:50 mark, Barron was accidentally releasing the side headlock and Stone had to put himself back in the side headlock. 40 years ago, Stone was just another jobber to me. Now that I have watched some of his shoot interviews and re-watched some of his matches. I see that Stone was a very skilled and accomplished jobber. He knows how to feed his body to the star and knows how to make the star appear stronger.

RIP Nick Bockwinkel, one of the G.O.A.T.S...People talk about Flair, Hogan, Race, Brisco, Backlund, Sammartino, Rhodes, Funk and many other world champs but you have to put Nick Bockwinkel in the higher echelon of those greats.
