Revelation 9:20 “And the rest of the men which were not killed by these plagues yet repented not of the works of their hands, that they should not worship devils, and idols of gold, and silver, and brass, and stone, and of wood: which neither can see, nor hear, nor walk:” Idol worship is blasphemy!

This is a weak case man. i argue not with hate but with just firm love. Premising that first before getting direct LOL. :) (i direct much of this at magisterium teaching, not you) Luke 1:13 But the angel said to him, "Do not be afraid, Zechariah, for your prayer has been heard, and your wife Elizabeth will bear you a son, and you shall call his name John. the same can be said of Abraham and Joseph. Gabriel is NOT venerating Mary or any of these people. He’s a messenger. That’s it dude lol Veneration is just a distinction without a difference in practice man. Rome redefines secular definitions of historical veneration to move the goal post back. They even do this with the 2nd commandment. Rome has turned Mary and the saints into mini gods pushing Christ further away in actual regenerate redemption. You cannot have a relationship with God where you must appease God through saints “putting in a good word”. That’s no relationship nor are any of your call out examples of actual veneration but rather simply acknowledgment and respect of these characters. God does not need lubrication and greasing between you and him to get your prayers answered. This is something the historical church does not align on. Most of the Marian dogmas originate from apocryphal rejected text even by Rome. That said, God saves, we don't. God will save who he chooses to save regardless of this argument.

Like the way you get smug & say "just say a little prayer or believe some things about Jesus". But yeah, that is the katholic way. You see, it is 100% about faith, what you need to do is go find out what real faith is. Your spin on the the man coming to Jesus & asking what he needed to do to be saved. Could it be he was a Jew and at that time Christ had not yet become our propitiation yet & at that time if one-way true to want to be saved one needed to follow Jesus? I realize y'all don't take the gift seriously as of the gift of God nor respect it but must add/insert man's traditions: Roman3: 21 But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets; 22Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference: 23For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; 24Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: 25Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God; 26To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus. 27¶Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? of works? Nay: but by the law of faith. I mean, if y'all ain't taught, told or desire to read & study the Word of GOD then you can't see it. Now, when you do, you'll have to rip out pages to meet the katholic narratives of the vatican

The bible is churchical because the Holy Catholic Church which Jesus built and left to us decided which writings are inspired, and which are not. Jesus left us His Holy Catholic Church. Jesus did not leave us a book.

I like your videos a lot, and you help me try to understand catholicism as a Baptist. I do have an idea I would like to talk about with you. Is it possible that because he was never born of a man impregnating a woman, he had no sin in his flesh, compared to us. Maybe it's not about the flesh itself but about the sin in the flesh (which we all have). Jesus was able to sin, just did not. Which in that case, means his flesh and blood were enough for us on the cross. Please comment because i would like to learn more. Your the only person I trust with helping me understand and I want the holy spirit to open my eyes to the truth.

hello. I'm new here. I love Jesus and wept today because of false teachers who are leading the flock directly into the path of wolves. The sheep who do not recognize the true voice of of Jesus. This makes me cry out. Stop. Read his words, it is life. Do not go your own way. Listen. Do not lean on your own understanding. Difficulties does bring you closer to God and test your faith. Patience and faith is key. Count ALL your blessings. The fact that you rose this morning, ate, drank etc another day to talk to God in spirit and in truth, is liberating. You can be angry respectfully, I was and it calmed me down. I love you all as God first loved us. He has given us so many chances. Do not abuse his grce. AMEN

Why hate the Catholic Church? More than 95 false doctrines leading people away from Jesus to hell. Until 350 the Catholic Church was Orthodox. In 610 we see that the Emperor or Rome forces a Pope and 10 false doctrines. In 1054 the Orthodox split at about 22 false doctrines. In 1517 Protestant Reformation at 95 false doctrines. And a few more since then. The Catholic Church needs to come back to its biblical roots.

It would appear that you and Todd are on the same team-sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Am I wrong? How about instead of criticizing a good man, with seemingly good intentions, by snickering, using critical sarcasm and then quoting “Catholic talking points,” why don’t you invite Todd to discuss this on your channel. And, it seems you have a problem with the simple requirements of God’s Commandments. Why? Ever read Romans Chapters 3 or 4 or 5? How about Titus Ch 3? Have you read Romans 11:6? “Now if by grace, then it is NOT by works (striving to be “good”) otherwise grace ceases to be grace.” And… Ephesians Chapter 2. Especially verses 8. & 9: “For you are saved by grace through faith, and this is not from yourselves (YOU CAN’T MAKE THIS HAPPEN) it is God’s gift -  not from works (doing good), so that no one can boast.” How is a Catholic-Christian publicly saying disparaging comments and making fun of an another person in ministry, behind their back, appropriate? You probably won’t, but it wold be a good thing for you to discuss your issues with this guy, Todd, on some channel, preferably this one. ‭‭

All you have to do is believe John 3:16,truly believe it and you are sealed till yhe end till glory, no wizards needed. And so much passion from a guy who is ok with all the pedophilia. You are in sin my boy and God will judge you harsher.See to say you believe in the sum paid by Jesus is only half true and you want faith snd and works that's why those wizards always sin.

Twenty-nine (29) times, in the Old Testament, God is referred to as Rock. Eight (8) times, in the New Testament, Jesus is referred to as Rock. According to some: within the entire Bible, only one (1) time was Peter referred to as Rock. Final score: OT-29 and NT-8 and Peter-1. Let's give Peter a Rock status for his efforts. Whoops! I meant lower-case 'r' (real low).

Thank you, Keith, for doing this video series. I have been enjoying it. I'll read the readings and then watch your Unpacking the Mass video for context and commentary. This week, one of my own observations is a little befuddlement over where the Church chose to begin the reading from the book of Wisdom. Even giving one earlier verse of context would have made the entire reading more easily understandable and applicable to our daily lives. Curious to know your thoughts about that.

Faith Hope and Love in and threw Christ Jesus and the Grace he has gifted us to be approved justified threw Faith by grace and is without repentance and irrevocable for those who have accepted the calling and gift's invitation from God for Salvation finished works. .. Denomination is a personal choice. No rightousness of the our own efforts, desires, beliefs approved by God justified undefiled and the solution for Salvation and eternal life in paradise with the God of creation. The Church is an assembly of saints and the Hope of Glory promised waiting for the promise to be fulfilled. Why we value one denomination or congregation over another as correct or not..Elevated..Devalued.. Set's up foolish quarrels division and fuels and a falsely claimed evaluation. Denomination or congregation and the rules regulations traditions ceremonys sacrifices pressure ect. Man’s principles of receiving a free gift cannot be applied to God. We are all sinners, you are saying that we must live sin free after salvation or we will lose it. If you agree we all sin then at what point do we lose it? The first time we sin? The 100th? We CANNOT work ourselves into heaven, we will never be worthy. This is what Jesus did for us, he removed all work based salvation and said those who believe will be saved.

If you say the only true church is the catholic church and only Pope is anointed by the Holy Spirit and so is infallible, then what about his decisions on lgbtq. Does the Holy Spirit who leads the Pope contradict with the Holy Spirit who inspired the writers of the Bible? Even some bishops of the Catholic church have opposed Pope's decision regarding blessing of the lgbtq couples. You have a step motherly treatment to the Scriptures. However, the Catholic church does respect the reading nd exhortation from the Bible. If you do not regard Jesus' and the apostles' words recorded in the Bible you are talking against your own Catholic church.

The Catholic church is biblical because THE CHURCH says it is. Jesus, being JEWISH, of a JEWISH mother, with JEWISH apostles, DID NOT build a ROMAN catholic church. Would your pope build a Mormon or protestant church? Sure he would. Next. There is absolutely no proof, biblical or otherwise that shows that Jesus, Mary, Peter or any of the other apostles EVER believed, taught, or practiced ANYTHING Roman Catholic. Doctrines, dogmas, anything. Jesus NEVER said pray to Mary or the rosary. Jesus never said that the way to him was through his mother. Scripture refutes this Catholic fairytale. Neither Jesus or God EVER gave Mary any special powers or special names. Peter likewise. No biblical proof that he ever said or taught any of those things previously mentioned. Where did all this come from? Inventions from Rome with the help of a church father. SATAN. He loves the Roman Catholic church for doing his earthly work.

Yes, traditions of men. So they're not? God sent the rosary? He said pray to Mary? So sola scriptura is a man made tradition? BUT, you used the BIBLE ALONE to say that your traditions are equal to that bible alone? You couldn't use the Koran, the book of Mormon or any other book. Was the bible the ONLY book out there that could give YOUR TRADITIONS credibility and believability? If these traditions are from God why can't you just say they are from God? So sola scriptura is a man made tradition but you're using that man made tradition to give YOUR traditions believability? So your church by using this man made tradition, unwittingly confirms Sola scriptura for us. You are just too smart for yourself.

Peter is the rock if you listen to Rome. Peter is not the rock if you read scripture plainly as you say. First, I make this point. Catholics, including you claim that Peter is mentioned first. Before the other apostles. That this somehow gives Peter some sort of primacy or whatever. Right? Let me give you some scriptures and hopefully you can answer them. Answer them without the Catholic spin. Cause I know apologists and that's what you do. So there are several scriptures in the NT that disprove your lies. One that says no man can lay any foundation than has been laid. And that foundation is Christ. Another says that "they drank from that spiritual rock that followed them: AND THAT ROCK WAS CHRIST." Is that plain enough Mr. Nester? Well if that's not plain enough, try this. 1 Samuel 2:2 "There is none holy as the LORD: for there is none beside: neither is there ANY ROCK like our God." Do I need to explain what ANY ROCK means? Isaiah 44:8 "Do not tremble: do not be afraid. Did I not proclaim my purposes for you long ago? You are my witnesses -is There any other God? No! THERE IS NO OTHER ROCK-NOT ONE!" So in keeping with Catholic thinking that Peter is mentioned first, I ask you this. The OT is first before the NT, right,? Ok, so the OT is before the NT right? So the OT takes precedence, if you will. Next point. Some of you try to give the excuse that we aren't under the OT and that the old covenant vs the new covenant etc. Nice spin. BUT last I checked the God of the OT was, is and will be the God of the NT forever. Right Mr. Nester? Can you get anymore plain than this? One more point, THERE ARE NOT TWO ROCKS! Also what about the scripture that says "he is my rock and my fortress?" Who is HE in this scripture? Or how about "He is the rock of my salvation." Again, who is HE in this scripture? The SCRIPTURAL evidence is overwhelming that Christ is THE ROCK, the foundation, the chief cornerstone and the head of the church. Let me repeat 1 Samuel "neither is there ANY ROCK like our God." And Isaiah 44. "There is NO OTHER ROCK -NOT ONE!" Mr. Nester please put the Catholic spin on these two and other scriptures that I quoted
