@@thefarmhousetable3608 Thank you for your reply. I am both a cookie fanatic, a sugar addict (handling it, no worries haven't had sugar in a year!) and a Marketing/Advertising person. And I can tell you, people who watch these videos watch it to see the sugar being poured on the butter then being mixed!

Hey there! I definitely want to try these. One question - I need to leave the nuts out. Do I need to add more flour or anything else to compensate for no nuts? I just don’t want them to spread too much. Generally prefer a thicker cookie without being too thick if that makes any sense. 😅

Hey there! No need to add more flour. Just leave out the walnuts. Let me know how they turn out when you make them. If you like a thicker cookie, make sure you refrigerate the cookie dough at least a few hours or overnight before baking 😊

I noticed in your recipe that you provided it says 1 cup of white sugar AND 1 cup of light brown. Unless I missed it, I didn’t see you add the white sugar. I rewatched twice & I think I saw you add the white sugar very quickly but not 100% sure. If you could please clarify this, I’d appreciate it very much.
