I purchased my one and only Spike Milligan book called The Compulsive Spike Milligan whilst checking in for my flight at Gatwick Airport, I only purchase this said book as my suitcase was 1lb 9 Oz underweight and I like getting my full quota of weight for which I paid for. I also purchase a set of weighing scales for which I left with the checking in assistant '' they were extremely pleased indeed.

70 odd years later. we might of got a bit more sophisticated now, but the music still spells the simple truth, i remember the 60s 70s in the UK grim times but there was a fierce energy that punk tapped into, we was sick of the same old same,we wanted to rip it down and start again naive we was but that spirit call it outlook has stayed with me, my body may be past it but in my heart of hearts nothings changed,, sorry went onto one there love the old blues ive even learned tp play the harmonica it brings me such pleasure its like a form of meditation, there i go rambling again,BLUES MUUUSICK IS GOOD xxxx

so a nazi that maybe left and travelled outside a battlefiled was a civilian and innocent, you are not very smart I gather, and maybe equally uneducated. This was an enemy warship, and an enemy warship is a threat, and t was sunk, that was a good thing for the british, it is however a tragic fact that all warfare costs lives on noth sides. it had to be sunk

I love that for the segment from 'Stardrive' you replaced the godawful 'scale up a jpeg of 3 pursuit ships' shot for one of the far superior model shots. (Even the POV from the engine section looks better than the one I'm thinking of.) Wish that could've been done for the physical/digital releases too.
@doctorzerkalosmonitorzone61544 ай бұрын
So glad and am impressed you noticed that!! Yes, the existing model shot of the trio of pursuit ships felt like a natural swap - and then having done that I tried to have a go at replacing the engine section POV shot and the three red wobbly blobs pretending to be pursuit ships in the original. I swapped the starfield so that it gives the impression that we're looking behind the Scorpio (in the original shot the stars are moving sideways instead of receding behind the engine section) and then added in three pursuit ships using the model uploaded by Horatio Chinn on KZfaq. I'd done some slight adjustments to the starfields in some of the Liberator music suites (either adding more stars in or replacing an out of focus or outsized starfield in a few shots) but nothing too fancy (I don't have those skills!). Agreed completely about enhancing some of the shots if the show is ever released on Blu-ray - I wouldn't want the lot replaced as there's some outstanding model work in the show - but some of the starfields, CSO fringing, stabilisation and out-of-focus nature of some of the ships could do with a bit of TLC to make the shots more effective - I hope they present that as an option if they ever do a Blu-ray set! Thanks again :- )

Why did the British government create an exclusion zone if they were going to ignore it and torpedo ships outside it? At the time it was torpedoed the Belgrano was definitely sailing away from the Falklands. Diane Gould was absolutely right and all Margaret Thatcher did was bluster. What she's actually saying is all's fair in war. If that's going to be the policy then say so and don't pretend there are rules.
