Thanks for taking the time to upload this. Do you know if we need to install both the "regular / vanilla" unreal engine and the unreal editor for aximmetry to transfer over assets from the marketplace to the editor? or is there a way to see the uneral editor for aximmetry in the epic games launcher as a "version"?

@@SitinprettyProductions I depends on the asset you are adding. The assets that have the add to project option can be added directly to the unreal editor for Aximmetry version the assets that have the creat project option will need to be created in the vanilla version first. We will work on creating a quick tutorial that covers the process.

Nice tutorials! I am exploring this landscape. Before investing in any hardware, can this be evaluated with the 'free' Aximmetry Composer?

Yes, absolutely, on the aximmetry website you can compare what functionality is available between versions. The free version and the studio will not have all the same functionality as the broadcast version which I'm using for these tutorials but you should be able to do most of the testing you will need todo. You can also reach out to [email protected] to ask for a test broadcast license if you need to experiment further. Here's a link: aximmetry.com/products

Do you mind telling me what gpu and cpu you use? I use a a6000 and high end cpu but no matter what scene im rendering aximmetry processor load alwasys shows over 100

The a6000 should be more than enough you may need todo some scene optimization. For these tutorials we are using a rtx 3080ti and ryzen 3950x. I will do a tutorial in the future to show some unreal engine settings you can try to get better performance. It will change from scene to scene.

You still the best aximetry teacher UP to me till now. I have a request and a question. IS it's possible to have différent virtual input show on preview and another virtual input with another another vset show on program. I see that axymetri only put preview and preview twice. Best regards

Thank you. To answer your question, no Aximmetry works with one Virtual set at a time. The preview 1 stream can be thought of as the editor preview. The preview 2 stream is showing you the SDI output. The preview 2 stream would be sent to a capture device for final pixel recording. If you want to load another virtual set you would have to change the unreal scene in your compound.

@@frustumvirtual thanks for your answer master . how can each of my virtual plans have its own sdi output, is it possible? because it is important to be able to output each virtual shot independently on its dedicated SDI output. the production will have more value up to me. your help Master.

@@cloudmediaandservices1110 For multi camera shoot you would have to set up multiple inputs into the computer that is running Aximmetry. If each camera needs to be recorded and edited later you would need one computer per camera.

Dear Taylor, Thank you for the informative tutorial on set up and using Aximmetry Eye with an iPhone as both a tracker and camera. I have a question: How can I use the iPhone solely as a tracker and pair it with another camera, such as a Canon camera? Detailed steps or a brief overview of the setup would be greatly appreciated.

You can try to set the tracking device setting in your input properties to the iPhone you are using and the camera device to the correct input from your cannon camera. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/p5mVlNJn3s7KXZ8.htmlsi=auKveQGAqHCpWYw4&t=631 I have not been successful in setting it up as only a camera tracking device but I will be sure to create a video if I'm able to get it working.

ButI have not been successful in setting it up as only a camera tracking device. There is no clear instruction on Aximmetry eye page (documentation) too. l’ll try to dig deeper to set it up while waiting for your video.

Here is some documentation on NDI output. my.aximmetry.com/post/19-how-can-i-send-ndi-output For the second part of your question I’m not sure I completely understand what you are asking. If you want to change the scene? This can be done by switching to another unreal engine project that has been cooked. Or by changing the project settings to another existing level in the project and cooking it.

hi bro and thanks for everythings your are doing for the community i have a problem and i want you to help me to resolve the issue I have a problem with output sdi with aximmetry. i have a Blackmagic Design DeckLink Quad 2 8-Channel 3G-SDI Capture & Playback Card. and we configure the sdi 1 as the first input and we have feed in aximmetry without trouble but when we configure the sdi2 port as output1 we don't have the virtuel set on the sdi monitor .i only have one monitor that i setup as #1. and my sdi2 as #2 but i can't have the virtuel feed of axymmetri in output monitor. help please

I have a question on the video import function piece using the test button. Is there a way when adjusting the parameters when the Test button is selected without having your original virtual camera settings changed once the test button is released? My guess is no, but I was surprised when my original camera feed footage was all changed. I would imagine I would have to use a different virtual camera input if I wanted separate settings.
