As long as you have the song as an audio file on your computer, like an MP3 file you can play it. Audiosurf generates the course based on the beats in the song.

This song will become legend. It’s hit me that you are my higher self that projected me down to the 3D world. You can get the game from Steam, normally it's $9.99; on sale it can drop to about as low as $2.49 or so. But you do need to purchase the game in order to post scores on the scoreboards.
