How do you find and get permission to fly on these places ....in Europe where i live,you could end up in yail or shot at by a very angry neighbour....(every model airplane is now categorised as a "drone" overhere and therefore considered as being extremely dangerous ),almost evrywhere nitro engines are outlawed (or in the proces of being...)

I'm 55 yrs old and remember making these when I was a kid but we used a hollow straw & would just throw it instead of using a motor... it would fly for ages 👍👍👍

I live about 25 minutes away from the ETSU Mini Dome where they have the indoor fly every year. I do not have any of these aircraft, but I spend hours just marveling at them both on the ground and in the air.

One more thing. Have you ever experimented with airplanes with anhedrals ? Or negative dihedrals ?... I've made many examples of scratch built free flight gliders based on different fighter jets like the SU-7 Fitter and they are extremely stable and ultra fast. Over the years, I've gotten average distances of 120-140 foot horizontal distances. These are all silent and engine free. They do, hiwever, make a fast "swoosh" sound the harder and faster that you throw them and as a rule of thumb, usually against the wind.

Your Cheapie Chinese plane looks pretty good and got some decent flights but I think that the wing position or placement is a bit too forwards giving it a very slight "wanting to stall effect". It seems that it could be a little bit better balanced. Could be remedied by adding a tiny bit of weight to the nose and or maybe moving the wing a little more back. I used to add pennies to the nose of these little ready to fly smaller planes RTF AND give it more power by adding another loop strand of rubber engine. They would sound much louder than usual although the flights were briefer but at the same time more powered up. I called them my 'Fighter Gliders".
