One of the best generations. Britain will never be the same again. So many ignoring it and forgetting their ancestors.

Only 119 years ago but so humbling to watch and to think of the lives of all the people in the video had and had to face in upcoming years with the advent of world war 1 and 2 and realize that they are all long gone now...🌹

Hi would it be possible to share this video? My father believes the one legged man at 1:58 might be his grandparent. He had a business on Corporation St which wasn’t far from this street

@@HistoryColorized I’ll happily share. Even if it’s possible that is my great grandfather it’s a great piece of insight into where my family is from. I don’t have the premium sun for KZfaq. Is there anyway you’d be able to share a file of this video with me?

Hoe kan dit in kleur zijn? Betekent dit dat het later ingekleurd is?
@HistoryColorized Жыл бұрын
Ja precies! D.m.v. kunstmatige intelligentie wordt de kleur geraden. Het is niet nauwkeurig, maar geeft een indruk van hoe het in kleur uit gezien zou hebben kunnen.

A few observations, about things that haven't changed much. 1. People had no more respect for each other back then, than they do know. 2. The wealthier folk (the ones who could afford cars) even then thought they were better than and had more right of way than everyone else. 3. After 126 years people still haven't learned to drive! I think ego gets in the way! Things that have definitely changed. 1. Attire. Wow, how impractical was is to wear suits & ties all day every day? This I'll never understand! Even the poor, had and wore suits! 2. Even more impractical than the mens attire, were the womens! Their hats were as obnoxious as their dresses. Just who were these people trying to impress? Genral: 1. All those horses, but no manure! Anywhere! lol 2. You have all those cars, wagons, bicycles, horses and people going in all directions, with no apparent traffic rules yet no accidents or dead pedestrians anywhere! AMAZING!
