1 : 7 ratio ?? what kind of Sand ? I been doing 1 bucket cement to 4 sand (we use this fine limestone sand) I keep thinking 1:7 wouldn't be very durable? am I wasting cement?

Remember that's a small construction bucket, so it would be seven of that, but if u decide to use the 5 gallons bucket it would definitely be 4 to 4 1/2 to one sock cement, remember the wall tends to crock when use to much cement

@@stkittsandnevisislandlife2117 I just go on ration 1 equal bucket of Cement to 3-5 for sand... I get you too rich is no bueno,. Here we got this white limestone sand they called "talco" which we use for plastering and its very very strong.

When I am on the island I am usually in the sea by 6am for my morning swim. WOW that is rough for Frigate and look at all the sea weed. Nature just doing it's thing.

@@stkittsandnevisislandlife2117 Am so glad you put out that vedio of frigate bay ..it was what prompt me to put on my shutters at 8pm in the pouring rain and am so glad i did...the winds were relentless espicially up in these hills..power went out at 7pm..all now still out lits of down wires landslides , trees down and so on...but they was saying it was a tropical storm..but it was not....that vedio and you saved me a lot in damages because i took it more serious after watching...Thank you🙏

What I admire about St. Kitts is that most of their houses are built using block and steel. Most of our Caribbean islands with the exception of Jamaica uses board to build their houses.
