Yes this worked for me - 2006/8 Mac book 2.1 2gb RAM and not much hrd drv. Reset it. Make sure you type in the commands perfectly. Good luck

These routers are terrible if you want to make phone calls from your Wi-Fi only iPad! Four spectrum routers and only one allowed me to make calls from my iPad! The one router had to return, because it kept dropping the Internet signal. Tech-support help me told me to exchange the router. The two routers I got I wasn’t able to make calls on my iPad. And yes, I know the Wi-Fi only iPad must be on the same network as an iPhone obviously, it was.

You indicated the hinge straps and gate hinge for pipe purchased from Home Depot do not fit and to buy from a hardware store. It first glance, the gate hinge for pipe purchased at HD does not fit. That is due to the zinc coating used in the glalvanizing process. The 5/8 pin on the pipe hinge will fit together with the hinge strap with a little work. To get it to fit you can do one or all of three things: 1) use a file or coarse emory cloth to remove some of the zinc coating on the pin, or 2) Hammer the pin into the loop of the hinge strap, or 3) both 1 & 2. Any of these ways will work and you don't have to chase parts that will slip into the hinge strap easily because you most likely won't find them. Once you use one or all three of the options above, things will work perfectly fine. Go ahead and buy at Home Depot, Lowes or other home improvement stores. All the brands you will find are pretty much the same with the zinc coating ; whether National or Everbilt brands.

I have a similar machine. Try to avoid pulling the machine backwards because it puts excessive strain on the roller motor and may cause damage.
