This is MEEE, especially when it comes to room decor, I love a colorful maximalist look but at the same time I don’t want a bunch of stuff in my room that I have to take care of and constantly clean. Plus, i have clinical depression, and when I go into a deep “episode” I neglect everything. So im unable to care for stuff. So what I did is only buy the essentials when it comes to furniture, because that’s what sits on the floor and takes up space. I have a lamp and jewelry box but outside of that, no Knick knacks. But to still give a maximalist look, I hang up framed pictures and objects EVERYWHERE! Seriously, my walls look like Cracker Barrel 😂😂😂
